George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are engaged.
The couple, who have been dating since late-last year, recently sparked rumors they're heading for the aisle and now an insider has confirmed their happy news. "George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem. I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever," a source told People.
The 36-year-old lawyer first fueled rumors George, 52, had proposed when she was spotted showing off a diamond sparkler on her ring finger as they indulged in sushi at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday.
It is believed the loved-up duo, who are yet to confirm they are even dating, were joined by Cindy Crawford, 48, and actor Edward Norton, 44.

Charlize Theron to Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Charlize Theron is to host Saturday Night Live for the first time.
The Young Adult actress has been chosen to front one of the last episodes of the hit NBC show's most recent series on May 10. She will put her comedic talents to the test when she makes her hugely-anticipated appearance to promote her new Seth MacFarlane western, A Million Ways to Die, E! Online reports.
Joining the 38-year-old star in the recently announced line-up are The Amazing Spider-Man favorite Andrew Garfield, and Lonely Island joker and SNL regular Andy Samberg, who are hosting on May 3 and May 17 respectively.
Charlize will be joined by indie rockers The Black Keys, who have already performed on the show twice, while Andrew's episode will feature a live set from Coldplay and Andy will be accompanied by first-time performers St. Vincent.

Kim Kardashian will have three wedding ceremonies.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is set to tie the knot with her rapper fiance Kanye West once in Southern California and twice in France and the couple's lawyers have advised them to have their civil ceremony in the United States, since they're both American citizens, prior to their French nuptials on May 24 to avoid any unnecessary paperwork problems.
"Typically, the US recognizes citizens getting married in France, but dealing with a foreign government and paperwork could be a nightmare. So just to make sure it's legal, Kim and Kanye will first be having a civil ceremony in Southern California," a source said.
Kim and Kanye - who have nine-month-old daughter North together - will have to have a religious ceremony after the civil wedding because of French custom.

Lamar Odom Is Ready for Divorce

Lamar Odom is ready to sign his divorce papers.
The basketball star's wife, Khloe Kardashian, filed court documents to legally dissolve their four-year marriage in December, following months of rumors he was addicted to cocaine and cheated on her multiple times, and he has finally realized he won't be able to win her back.
"Lamar finally gets it, his marriage to Khloe is over," a source said.
The 34-year-old athlete is expected to formally submit a response to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's divorce petition in the next few weeks, after hearing she "adores" her new beau, French Montana. "There was a time when Lamar said he would never give up on getting back together with Khloe, but he recognizes she has obviously moved on. He will tell his attorney to submit a response to Khloe's divorce petition. It isn't expected to be a long drawn out divorce, since there is an iron clad prenup in place," the source said.

Is this Amazon’s 3D infrared Kindle smartphone?

Our friends at BGR is reporting that it has acquired an image of Amazon's upcoming smartphone with 3D display. Purportedly, this is a prototype, and if it's true, it has some interesting features that set it apart from the pack. The biggest feature is a 3D effect that is powered by a series of infrared cameras that are used to to track the eyes and face of the user, which then uses the data gathered to power the 3D effect without using the typical methods of deliverying glasses-free 3D (like found on the Nintendo 3DS.) The display is a 4.7-incher, along with a 13-megapixel rear camera.
Amazon has been rumored to be working on its own smartphone for years, ever since releasing the first Kindle Fire tablet. According to the Wall Street Journal, Amazon's 3D smartphone should ship to customers this September.

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are engaged.
The 41-year-old presenter unveiled her stunning yellow sapphire ring on The View today, and revealed her 11-year-old son Evan - who she has with former spouse John Mallory Asher - helped the New Kids on the Block singer with his proposal last weekend.
After hiding her hand behind the show's desk, Jenny showed off the ring and exclaimed, "I just got engaged!" She then wept as she recalled the proposal and explained Donnie, 44, had got down on one knee to pop the question. "This weekend I was sitting with Donnie ... and he went into the other room and Evan out came with a card that said 'Will' and he handed it to me. Then Evan ran away and came in with a card that said 'You.' I started crying and then Evan came into the room with the word 'Marry' - but spelled wrong. Last Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' and he got down on his knee ... Of course, I said 'Yes.' In that moment Evan yelled, 'I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and he's so wonderful," she said.
The couple - who started dating last summer - are unsure when they will marry. "We don't know yet," Jenny admitted.

Photo purports to compare iPhone 6 display panel with iPhone 5s display

A photo that purports to show a front panel from the upcoming iPhone 6 has appeared on China's Weibo site. In the photo, someone is holding the alleged iPhone 6 part up next to a current black iPhone 5s in order to show a size comparison between the two Apple smartphones. The display panel matches up with the rumored 4.7-inch size increase. Of course, that doesn't mean that this particular image is real, but iPhone leaks do start happening annually, like clockwork, around this time of year for the past three years.

Dina Lohan Pleads Guilty to DWI

Lindsay Lohan's mother has been ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
Dina Lohan pled guilty in court in Long Island, New York on Tuesday morning to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and speeding last September. Along with her community service, Dina must attend a mandatory drinking and driving program, a victim impact panel, and pay the necessary fines and fees.
The 51 year old is also expected to have her license revoked and an interlock device will be installed in her car, according to gossip website TMZ.com. The Lindsay star was initially arrested for driving at "a speed of 77 mph in a 55mph zone" and police then discovered her blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
Shortly afterwards, her lawyer Mark Heller attempted to blame the paparazzi for the incident. "It is the professional opinion, as stated here by the evaluator, that the circumstances leading to Dina's arrest were largely impacted by ongoing daily stresses caused by you folks, the paparazzi, media attention and distorted tabloid character profiles," he said.

Sean Penn Ready to Propose?

Sean Penn is reportedly planning to propose to Charlize Theron.
Friends close to the couple, who began dating at the end of last year and flew to Hawaii to celebrate New Year's Eve together in December, predict the Milk actor and the South African actress will get engaged in the very near future, but insist they haven't started making wedding plans just yet.
An insider told PEOPLE.com that they "wouldn't be surprised" by a proposal, adding, "But she's not engaged - yet."
The duo, who went public with their relationship at Sean's third annual Help Haiti Home gala in January, were "inseparable" when they flew to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for Valentine's Day weekend in February. "They held hands everywhere they went," an eyewitness said at the time.
The 53-year-old actor is set to direct his Oscar-winning girlfriend and Javier Bardem in The Last Face, which is expected to begin filming in Africa later this year.
