CeeLo Green Quits ‘The Voice’ for His Own Show

CeeLo Green has quit the The Voice to host his own show.
The "Forget You" hitmaker has been a judge on the version of the singing contest on the first three series, before returning on the fifth series last year, but has now decided to step back to focus on other TV projects.
"I'm not coming back guys. I'm going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them as well and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year. But yeah, I'm going to miss The Voice too. So I'm not coming back guys," he said, speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Shocked by his revelation, Ellen replied, "Oh, you're not coming back at all? I did not know that!"
CeeLo is hoping to take some time to focus on his music and is excited about the release of his next album Girl Power, which is due out between February and March.

Kate Mara Warns Family About On-Screen Nudity

Kate Mara's family don't approve of her stripping on screen.
The 30-year-old actress is currently starring in the Netflix original series House of Cards alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright and admits she has to warn her parents if she takes her clothes off in any of the scenes:
"They [my parents] don't love it that I occasionally have to take off certain items of clothing. We sort of have an unspoken rule of, if my character on House of Cards or during a photo-shoot I have to be in my underwear or something, I sort of send out a family text about it. 'Beware of the first 30 seconds of House of Cards - you will be disturbed.'"
Kate has always tried to reassure her family about her on-screen antics and says her phrase "It's just acting dad" has become so popular in her household, her father has named his racehorse after it.

Laura Carmichael: Lady Edith Is Carrie Bradshaw

Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael thinks her character is the Carrie Bradshaw of the 1920s.
The actress, who plays Lady Edith Crawley in the period drama, imagines her to be like Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex And The City alter ego, because she writes a column for a newspaper about women's issues, despite it not being mentioned often in the show.
"I do love to think of her in my head as Carrie Bradshaw of the 20s. She's got a column on being a modern woman. Probably far less racy," she said.
Although Edith's work isn't mentioned much on the show, it is important to Laura that it remains a part of the character. "Her writing was still going on this season, and I kept checking with the producers to make sure of it. She would submit an article monthly to the newspaper, and it would have been this casual column. It was pretty common of women of her status," she explained.

Miley Cyrus Twerks Her Way Through ‘Bangerz Tour’ Opening Show

Miley Cyrus appeared through a replica of her own mouth to open her Bangerz Tour in Canada last night.
The "We Can't Stop" star entered through an opening in a picture of her face and slid down a huge pink tongue extending to the stage on the opening night of the tour in Vancouver. The controversial singer showed off plenty of sexy dance moves including Twerking - the butt shaking dance she popularized last year - up against a giant blue teddy bear, rubbing her crotch, riding a hot dog and sucking on a foam finger.
The "Party in the USA" hitmaker opened the show in a red studded two-piece, before changing into a leotard printed with marijuana leaves and wearing a golden cannabis leaf around her neck, which she paired with white cowboy boots. She admitted her nerves before the performance, tweeting, "I don't know if it's Valentines Day or #BangerzTour but I'm most definitely having a panic attack."

Sharon Osbourne Blames Herself for Ozzy’s Relapse

Sharon Osbourne partly blames herself for Ozzy Osbourne's relapse.
The TV personality kicked her husband out of their home in 2012 and threatened to divorce him when she realized he had relapsed into drink after seven years sober, but on reflection she thinks she should have spotted the warning signs earlier.
"It was hell - the loneliest three months of my life. The frightening thing for me was that I didn't see it. So where was I for a year and a half? I was just self-obsessed with my work. I didn't see, so it kind of kicked me in the bum. Sharon added she found out about Ozzy's relapse on the day before their 30th wedding anniversary after a friend tipped her off. He was drinking when he came home, but we lead such busy lives that all I saw was bad behavior, I never saw the drinking. I left him and told him I couldn't go through this again, I just couldn't, and he promised he would work his program. He wasn't going to meetings, he wasn't working his steps, and he slipped, he slipped for a year and a half."

Michael Keaton Up for ‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel

It looks as though we might be a little closer to a decent Beetlejuice sequel.
While doing the press rounds for his latest film RoboCop, Michael Keaton admitted that he is interested in reprising his role for the 1988 cult hit:
"I've e-mailed [directpr] Tim [Burton] a couple of times, talked to the writer a couple of times, but all really, really preliminary stuff... I always said that's the one thing I'd like to do again, if I ever did anything again. But it kind of required Tim to be involved in some way or another. Now it looks like [Burton] is involved... And without giving too much away, we've talked to each other, and e-mailed each other, and if he's in, it's going to be hard not to be in."
If Keaton is a go and Burton is a go, what's the hold up?

If you didn't want to wait in line for hours to see Shia LaBeouf's art installation (or if you just live nowhere near Los Angeles), now is your chance to see what everyone's been talking about - even when Shia isn't.
An interviewer at Screen Junkies went into the exhibit armed with a video camera (check out the full video after the jump!) and immediately asked Shia to take the paper bag off of his head. When the Nymphomaniac star didn't respond, the interviewer removed the bag himself and was in shock that it was the actor himself and not someone he, say, hired off of Craigslist. The 27-year-old actor remained seated and continued to stare forward with a melancholic look as the interviewer tried to get a response from him by showing him a clip of his younger self in Even Stevens; berated him about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; and then tried word association.

Mariah Carey has slammed Nicki Minaj.
The 43-year-old singer - who repeatedly clashed with the "Starships" hitmaker when they were both judges on American Idol last year - insisted she wants to press "delete" on her time on the show and claimed she can't even remember her fellow panelist. When asked about the program on Power 105.1's "Breakfast Club" radio show, she said, "I was a professional on that show, and that's all I have to say. I was a complete professional."

Jared Leto Finds Juggling Acting and Music Easy

Jared Leto doesn't find it difficult switching from his role as a frontman to being an actor.
The Thirty Seconds to Mars singer, whose recent performance in Dallas Buyers Club as transgender AIDS victim Rayon has seen him win a string of awards, insists moving between the two professions comes naturally to him.
"You could stick me in front of a pile of rubbish, and I'll make something out of it. It all comes from the same place, I'm a creative person, I find creative solutions to problems, and the difference is process. The process of making music is very intimate, because at least for me, and Thirty Seconds to Mars, I write the songs, my brother [Shannon] plays the drums, and we have so much responsibility from the music to the production to the videos to the design to the marketing to the tours and the production of the tours ... everything."

Abbie Cornish to Release Rap Album?

Abbie Cornish wants to be a rapper.
The RoboCop actress is determined to pursue a career in hip-hop and has admitted she's currently recording an album, which she is hoping to release later this year.
"I'm half-way through it [the album]. I go back into the studio at the end of February. It should be finished soon. It should be released toward the end of the year," she said.
The 31-year-old star takes inspiration from Eminem, but insists her music taste is varied: "My favorite rapper is Eminem. But my music collection goes from classical to jazz to blues. My favorite era is the sixties and seventies. I have a very eclectic taste in music."
However, the blonde beauty insists her studio collection won't contain lots of covers because she prefers to write her own tracks and she's also lined up some collaborations. "I compose and write. I'm working with a lot of producers and musicians," she explained.
