Elizabeth Olsen has never been a fan of comic books.
The 24-year-old actress plays Scarlet Witch in the upcoming superhero movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron and, although she admits she's never really been one to read a comics, she insists she had heard of her alter-ego before she was handed the role.
"I'm not much of a comic book person. I like comic book movies but my brother [Trent, a screenwriter] is the comic book guy. If I'm having a meeting, I ask my brother to tell me about it. But of course I'd seen The Avengers! I've seen all the Marvel movies. I love those movies. Marvel keep the fantastical qualities but create something as realistic as they can make for this world. There's something genuinely broken. Everyone has their Achilles' heel," she said.
The screen star admits she doesn't know how she managed to secure herself the role in the Marvel movie, but doesn't think the director, Joss Whedon, hired her to wear racy outfits like the ones in the comic.

Kylie Minogue has blamed Sia for making her album about sex.
The "All the Lovers" hitmaker has teamed up with the producer for her forthcoming album Kiss Me Once - which includes tracks "Sexy Love," "Sexercize" and "Les Sex" - and insists she encouraged her to put a cheeky spin on her tracks to make them sound hotter.
"Sia is executive producer with me, which is amazing and a little dream come true, and there was a certain point on the album where we had countless songs, and she said, 'We need some sex on there.. we need a hot song.' Next thing I know there's 'Sexy Love,' 'Sexercize' and 'Les Sex'! And even looking at the album titles, trying to figure out what makes it on the album, I thought 'I can't really do that,' and then I thought 'Yeah, I really have to do that because they're all really great songs.' And I couldn't call them anything else, because that's what they are."

Madonna "hates" her own music.
The 55-year-old singer is tired of hearing her own songs so would never work out to a soundtrack of her own material. "I don't work out to my music - I hate my music! I mean, I'm sick of it. I love my music, but I'm just kind of sick of it. I like to hear other people's music when I work out," she admitted.
The "Hung Up" hitmaker - who has children Lourdes, 17, Rocco, 13, and Mercy and David, both eight - is known for her toned physique but she isn't always happy with her body. Speaking at the opening of her Hard Candy Fitness gym in Toronto, Canada, she said, "I have a love/hate relationship with my body. Some days I'm happy with it and other days... I wasn't born with Gisele Bundchen's body unfortunately, so you got to work for it - but it's OK."
Madonna - who is dating 26-year-old dancer Timor Steffens - also admitted she isn't a fan of "big bulky" guys, but does like them to be in shape: "You need to work out. I'm not into big bulky muscles, but a little more definition would be good. I like a lean, mean, fighting machine!"

George Clooney thinks that he's getting too old for acting.
The 52-year-old star has hinted he is thinking about retiring from the big screen in the near future to focus on his work as a producer and director. "The audience kind of tells you when it's time to get out from in front of the camera, and it's getting close I think," said The Monuments Men actor, who also wrote and directed the film.
But George insisted he is still very passionate about his career: "Every time you can make a movie to tell a story that people don't know, it's good."
The Oscar-winning actor also joked about how difficult it was to work with his co-star Matt Damon, who also attended the red carpet screening, on the movie, which is based on the true story of a team of soldiers who recovered millions of pieces of artwork stolen by the Nazis in WWII. "It was hard to get him out of his trailer sometimes. I don't like to use the word diva and throw it around loosely, but you know," he said.

Robin Wright’s Divorce Was “Devastating”

Robin Wright admits her divorce from Sean Penn was "devastating."
The House of Cards star, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Ben Foster, revealed she and the Milk star tried to save their marriage several times for their children, Dylan, 22, and Hopper, 20, before they finally split for good in 2010.
"Divorce in and of itself, and with children, is devastating. Worse than that. One of the reasons why we got back together and broke up so much was trying to keep the family together... and we did that for a long time," the 47-year-old actress said.
Robin, who has her new fiance's initial tattooed on her wrist and admitted she gets Botox, hinted that she and her 53-year-old ex-husband, who recently started dating Charlize Theron, are no longer on speaking terms: "Sean sees the kids. They see him. They see me. We've all got our own lives."

Victoria Beckham Contemplates Menswear, Shoe Collections
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Fashion Designers, News,
Considering her tremendous, successful transition from pop star to fashion designer, it was always just a matter of time before Victoria Beckham ventured into more than womenswear - and now it seems like it will be sooner than later!
When sitting down for a chat at the Parsons’s John L. Tishman Auditorium for students on Monday, the designer formally known as Posh confirmed that she's interested in pursuing both a shoe collection and men's clothing:
“You know, I do want to start a shoe collection. If anybody here is a shoe designer, please do come and see me! I definitely think shoes is probably the next category that I’ll look at going into; it’s quite a competitive category but I would love to go into [it]... I’d love to do menswear at some point, absolutely. I get very inspired by menswear - [my Spring 2014 collection] was very inspired by men’s tailoring, and there’s the boy-meets-girl fashion message throughout the whole collection.”
So... any shoe designers looking for a job out there?

Leonard Nimoy felt it was "unfair" when he was diagnosed with chronic lung disease.
The 82-year-old actor recently revealed he has developed obstructive pulmonary disease, despite quitting smoking 30 years ago, and he admits he has learned a "lesson" about his former deadly habit.
Discussing his diagnosis last May, he said, "I thought, 'This is unfair. I quit a long time ago. Why is this happening to me?' But it's a lesson that I had to learn. I damaged the lung cells many years ago and then as age begins the damage of lung cells as well you begin to feel it. So, it's something that can stick up on you later."
The Star Trek star has to carry a special machine around with him to help when he struggles to breathe. "This is an oxygenator. I don't carry a tank of oxygen. This machine gives me oxygen by it extracts oxygen out of the atmosphere and I get it up my nose when I need it. I'm still using it sporadically but a couple of years ago I didn't need it at all. Now, there are days when I needed it several times a day. I get short of a breath and suddenly feel like I can't get a full breath, I can't catch my breath. So, I have to go to the machine," he said, speaking on Piers Morgan Live.

Miley Cyrus Doesn’t Like Acting

Miley Cyrus isn't passionate about acting.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer - who shot to fame aged 12 after starring in Disney TV show Hannah Montana - is no longer interested in appearing in movies because she hates having to pretend to be someone else.
"I'm just not passionate about acting, because I don't like to pretend to be somebody I'm actually not. Why should I put on strange characters? I prefer to show my true colors as the real Miley Cyrus," she said.
The 21-year-old star also spoke out to demand more "tolerance" in the world and admitted she doesn't understand how discriminatory attitudes are still held in the modern world: "I think a lot about politics. Despite the fact that it's the 21st century and America is so proud of being a free country, sometimes incomprehensible things happen in our society. There is racism and discrimination. I fight against that. I demand more tolerance, especially for homosexuals, who of course should be allowed to marry.
