Sean Combs Aims to Be the Next James Bond

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Action, Celebrity Gossip,
Last month, it was revealed that Beyonce was vying for a role in a possible Wonder Woman movie. Now Sean Combs is publicly stating his interest about playing another action star.
In Diddy Blog #35, the entrepreneur and aspiring actor debuted a six-minute long “movie” for one of his new fragrances. (Aren’t perfume commercials supposed to show someone rolling around nude in silk sheets?) During his presentation, Combs stated why he might soon change his name (once again) to 007:
“I feel like I am best suited to be the next James Bond. Okay, we got a black president..you know, it’s time for black Bond. So this is also my audition tape and it’s my the movie for the fragrance I Am King.”

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, ABC, Cable, CBS, NBC, Grey’s Anatomy, Medium,

Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:
CSI: Miami: No matter what you think of Diddy, you can’t deny the mans’ diversity. Who else could front several reality shows, star in A Raisin in the Sun and take on David Caruso? According to Entertainment Tonight, the mogul is scheduled to air in two episodes of the CBS drama next year. He will play a federal prosecutor (yeah, I know) who has a personal and professional beef with Horatio’s team.

- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): “Alan tries dating two women at the same time.” I remember when Ducky was pining over just Molly Ringwald. He’s all growns up now.
- Prison Break (FOX, 9pm): “Sara learns something disturbing about Michael.” She realizes that if it weren’t for his steely gaze and tattoos, Michael would just be your average white guy.
- I Want to Work for Diddy (VH1, 9pm): Series finale. “The final contestants train with Marcus Buckingham and are interviewed by Diddy.” If they mistakenly admit their loyalty for McCain, Diddy will retreat back under the covers.
- Exiled (MTV, 10:30pm): “A hip hop star’s daughter is sent to the island nation Vanuatu to live in a bug-filled jungle in the shadow of an active volcano.” Had she wasted her youth watching Survivor: Vanuatu, she would have been prepared.

Video: Diddy is scared of Sarah Palin

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Elections, Humor, Videos,
In the latest edition of his Diddy Vlog (this would apparently be #24, if we want to be exact), hip hop mogul Diddy seems to have resorted to lunacy in his attempts to get his fans to get out there to register and vote this November. As you’ll see in the video, Diddy is scared. The culprit? Sarah Palin. Hey, I’m as scared of her as the next guy, but at the very least, I can articulate why I’m scared. It would have been nice if Diddy would have went that extra mile to actually put a message out there.
In the video, he does show that clip of Sarah Palin talking with Katie Couric about which magazines and newspapers she reads to keep up with everything going on - you know, the one where Sarah couldn’t name one single source? But still, that isn’t enough. At least at the end he throws out the call to action. Get out there and vote, peeps.
Why is Diddy Hiding Under the Covers?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Videos, Editorials,

In a recent entry on his vlog, Sean Combs (Diddy) cowered under the covers, spoke in a frightened whisper and admitted to one of his biggest fears: that Sarah Palin, Vice Presidential contender, will become the President of the United States.
“Sarah Palin, you scare me,” Diddy says dramatically, a single flashbulb illuminating the white sheet surrounding him. “She’s worse than the boogeyman!” He cries, eyes wide and haunted with images of Palin White House.
In the video, Diddy shows a clip of Palin’s interview with Katie Couric and goes on to lament the possibilities of the future. “If I stay under the covers, she won’t become President!” He decides, continuing to cower. View the clip after the jump.

Diddy Forced to Fly Commercial

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos,
Cue the violins.
In Diddy Blog #12 (“Gas Prices are Too Mother F***in High”), the entertainment mogul talks about his
fight against global warming
shrinking pocketbook.
Faced with ridiculous fuel prices, Diddy is now being forced to fly…wait for it….commercial. (He also claims to be flying coach, though I think the seat he winds up in is far nicer than anything I’ve ever planted my butt on.)
Well - if the businessman continues to plug American Airlines, maybe he can at least earn himself one of those celebrity discounts.

Questionable Outfit of the Day: Aubrey O’Day

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Clothing, Fashion Police, Red Carpet, Style,

I’m confused. From what I remember, Diddy often made a big deal about how his girls from Danity Kane looked and dressed.
Now that she’s reached Season 3 of Making the Band 4, did he simply stop caring - like everyone else - what Aubrey O’Day does?
(Make sure to check out our other questionable outfits.)

MONDAY (8/18)
- I Want to Work for Diddy (VH1, 9pm): “Two members from each team must go to Paris and convince a model that Diddy saw in a magazine to come back to NYC with them and pose for Sean John.” If you want to flatter a girl, don’t send one assistant - send four.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): Season 4 premiere. I’m ashamed to say that I know what a ‘Lo’ is.
- Paranormal State (A&E, 10pm): “A family in Shrewsbury, Mass., claims to have been living with a spirit for 40 years, and all but one family member believe the spirit is malicious.” If they’ve managed to live with it for 40 years, how bad could this spirit possibly be?
- Date My Ex: Jo & Slade (Bravo, 10pm): “Juvenile tomfoolery back at he house irks Slade and may mean the expulsion of a suitor.” Had this been simply adult tomfoolery, things would have been fine.

I Want to Watch Something New

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, Cable, Editorial,
In case you haven’t heard, VH1 is debuting a new reality series tonight. This time, there’s no dating game or gritty substance abuse - there’s just Diddy.
VH1’s I Want to Work for Diddy premieres tonight at 9pm ET. In this season opener, thirteen strangers (who answered the national wide cattle call VH1 put forth) will be welcomed to Bad Boy (the seat of Diddy’s empire) where they will be interviewed by a panel of Sean John’s most trusted employees. To get to Diddy, the contestants have to get past the panel.
In the show, Diddy (Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, so on and so forth) is searching for a new personal assistant - someone to be at his beck and call and see to his needs 24/7. The cast includes a student, an Iraq war veteran, a personal trainer who likes dancing, a legal assistant, a writer who is a Harvard graduate, a few professional office assistants…and one transvestite.
If you just can’t wait until tonight, VH1 is offering a video preview of the first episode here.
