Adam Sandler’s latest film, , marks yet another reunion (nearly paralleling the story itself) with SNL veterans David Spade, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, and Rob Schneider. Oh, and for some reason, Salma Hayek signed up for this gig, too.

Zachary Quinto Finds Love in Hostage

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Short Films, Romance, Comedy, Celeb News,

WARNING: The following clip contains offensive and explicit language!

What does Zachary Quinto do when he’s not playing a murderous mutant on Heroes nor an iconic alien for Star Trek? Holds his soul mate at gun point, of course!

In this Funny or Die skit, Quinto returns to his comedic talents in Hostage: A Love Story, where he credits his

sweet

uncouth manners to having sisters (as he holds a gun to his date’s head over lunch). For realsies.

Family Guy Campaigns for the Emmy

’s Emmy clip, which dubs in new sound over footage from an episode, is already a classic. This is truly a great award campaign, though the animated comedy hardly lacks for accolades. Family Guy has been nominated in several different Emmy categories ten times, winning three.

The 2009 nomination marks the first time the series has been up for Outstanding Comedy Series, a significant achievement. The last animated series to receive the same recognition was The Flintstones.

The above video uses violence to make it’s case for why Family Guy should win, and I find it pretty effective.

Sons of Tucson Looking for Two New Sons

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, FOX, News, Video,

Do you have an 8-year-old son with a lot of “character”? He is known to be “impish” or “impulsive”?

How about a 13- to 15-year-old teen? Is your young man “energetic and upbeat”? Would you occasionally consider him “charming”?

If you can answer “Yes” to any of the questions above, we might just have a way to make them (and you) a little money. The execs are holding an open casting call for the new comedy . Although three boys scored roles in the pilot (you can see a clip above), the youngest and oldest actors are now being recast.

Heck, she even took Rush Limbaugh to task for saying that the hopes Obama fails, which Sykes said was outright “treason.”

and Brian Grazer are producing Parenthood, a series based on the film they did together decades ago. Peter Krause, Maura Tierney, Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia and Erika Christensen are among the cast. The drama/comedy will explore life with kids…if NBC viewers aren’t already getting enough of that as it is.

Trauma, one of NBC’s new medical dramas, focuses on first-response paramedics (and already sounds doomed). The series is set in San Francisco and stars Derek Luke, Cliff Curtis, Aimee Garcia and others.
