We’re not sure if this is a godsend or cruelty in action. Folks in Poitiers, France, now have a washing machine for canines. Costing more than $30,000, the appliance washes and dries your dog in about 4 minutes, while the operator stands safely dry outside the apparatus. During its demo, the machine’s owner sat in with the pup to prove it was safe. We know that our dog will run at the sound of running water in the tub, so we can imagine what effect this might have on other furry friends. The very least the gadget should do is electronically toss in some kibble between cycles.

We’re sort of torn between the pros and cons of the microwaveable Forever Friends Bear. Made in England, the fuzzy critter is 14-inches tall and weighs about 2 pounds. If you nuke him for about 2 minutes, he heats up to “soothe, comfort, and relax.” CE approved, the FF bear is available for £14.99 ($29.23.) We like the idea of the warmth factor but we wonder if after repeated usage, the teddy bear and its keeper will glow in the dark.

Fingerprint identification is used to access the information and make your payments so no one else can check out your private business matters. Leave it to Watchismo Times to find the perfect Halloween clock. Created in 1610, this mechanical Skull and Crossbones Clock was designed by Nicolaus Schmidt der Junger from Germany. The skull sits on two crossed bones and is mounted on a gilt brass tripod. One minute the skull appears to smile, then scream, then its jaw snaps shut, while the snakes, located in the eye sockets, take turns appearing and disappearing. Both are operated by cams that rotate twenty times an hour. Recently the antique was sold for $135,000. The clock is located in the top of the skull, just in case you wondered.
