There can never be enough cleaning bots. So, in addition to iRobot’s roomba and scooba on the market, there is now one gadget that Hanulkid claims can do both. The bot can sweep door sills up to 1.5 cm high, and features IR, PSD, 3-way gyroscope, geomagnetic, and humidity sensors. When the Steamer has finished sucking up all that dirt, push a button and it will deep clean your carpets. The vacuum/steam cleaner needs 2AA batteries and comes with remote. Human Touch says their HT-7450 Zero-Gravity Chair has all the latest tech for backs and feet. Sit down and it will recline in the proper position so that your body will feel less strain from gravity. The chair’s Acupoint Detection System scans you for key pressure points and performs the service with an emphasis on those areas that are particularly stressed out. We like the concept, we are just thinking maybe this is one product you should try before you buy. Some of us get nauseous just thinking about reclining more that we would like. Then there is that $3,999.99 price tag.

It’s a retro-looking device that links up to your wireless network—and accesses over 6000 internet radio stations around the globe. In other words, you don’t need a computer and there’s no fees involved! Arise to Bhangra beats one day, Brazilian samba the next (and yes, there’s a snooze alarm). Plus, the Quattro can wirelessly stream music stored in your computer and you can even attach your MP3 player and use it as a speaker! Love it! Available in various colors for $250 USD, although for some reason “High Gloss White” is $50 more.

DIY KYOTO’s Wattson is finally ready to meet the world. The Wattson instantly reads how much electricity you use either in Watts or amount of money it is costing you. The information is gathered and stored from a transmitter that you attach to your electric meter or fuse box. With its mood LED, it changes colors depending on how much energy you use, with blue for less and red for high consumption. It also features an internal battery pack to make it portable.
Although it has been out for some time in limited release, the device was recently upgraded to show energy usage in Euros, Dollars, Stirling, Yen, and Pounds. Both Mac and Windows compatible, Wattson is available for £149.50 ($297.00.) A bit pricey, but well worth it when you consider the guilt factor.

It is now only 412 days until the end of analog TV. If you want to receive a coupon good for $40.00 towards the price of an ATCS tuner, you had best get to it. We checked into it yesterday (day one) and noticed that our order was around number 22,000. Since the boxes will not become available until late February or early March, the coupons will be issued then. Up to two per household are allowed and they expire 90 days from receipt. Remember that if you have cable or satellite, chances are the problem will be taken care of for you, but it never hurts to have a back-up plan.
