Bluetrek has claimed that it has the planet’s first headset that not only is wireless but acts as a storage unit. Making its debut at the recent CES, BIZZ appears to be your ordinary hands-free earpiece with 6 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby. With USB 2.0 charging, it also features up to 8GB of flash memory with a microSD card. The BIZZ, which weighs a mere 10g (including its ear hook,) has been launched in the UK with a price of ~£40 (~$80.00.) Check with Bluetrek for distribution near you.

For those of you that need your TV fix no matter where you are, Panasonic has created the 3G/GSM/GPS P905i for DoCoMo with a 1seg TV tuner. The device features Panasonic’s Viera image processing on a 3.5-inch screen with a 854 x 480 resolution. It holds up to 1GB of memory and has a 2MPx sensor and auto-focus cam, as well as DCMXiD. We keep our CDs in shoe boxes for the most part, but if you like to be a little more discerning, we found two new cases that will cheer up your shelves. At the a size of 14.17 x 5.71 x 5.04-inches and a weight of just over 27 oz., the Mini-Van Style Case holds 40 CDs for $25.79. On its box is the description as having a “unique patented design (that) ensures motion device works smoothly, slowly, silently.” While we believe this to be a comment on its opening and closing, you just never know. Apple Drops iPod shuffle Price to $49

Apple has lowered the price of its 1GB iPod shuffle. The musical mini-player has been reduced to $49.00 to make way for its soon to be released 2GB brother. At a size of about half a cubic inch in volume and a weight of about half an oz., the shuffle will come in silver, blue, green, purple, and a (Product) Red Special Edition, and will carry a price of $69.99. We like the idea that as more products are released, Apple has the sense to lower the old shuffle’s price, rather than charge more for the new one. Maybe they will do the same with their next iPhone.

With iTunes 7.6, we got movie rentals, among other things. We also got nice, tight integration between iTunes and Apple TV Take 2. Today, Apple released a small point upgrade in iTunes 7.6.1, which focuses on “several” bug fixes as well as an improving compatibility between iTunes and Apple TV 2.0 software.
