Octopus Charging cord

This octopus of a cable is one of those devices that allows you charge multiple gadgets, because it comes with a boatload of connectors.  Here is a convenient bullet point list:

  • Nokia 2.06mm (or 2mm)
  • Nokia 3.5mm
  • Sony PSP
  • Motorola (V3 series) & HTC and other phones using USB Mini 5 pin as a charging port
  • Micro USB (for Motorola V8…)
  • LG
  • Samsung (20P (s))
  • Samsung (20P (M))
  • Sony Ericsson Fast Port
  • iPhone / iPod (for charging and data)

Those who are counting may notice that it can charge ten different devices, not eight, as its octopus moniker implies. But of course, the PowerSquid name is taken.

It would appear that Plantronics Discovery 975 has gone for the classy crowd rather than the typical guys who just want the cheapest headset available.

With noise cancellation, wind protection, a nice carrying case, and loopless ear fitting, it looks like it would adorn the ear of the highest of classes, while maintaining the semi-affordable price of $130. You can pick one up over at Amazon.

You can get the Logitech Performance Mouse MX and the Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX on Amazon.

Nokia E81I like it when mobile phone designers start thinking outside of the box, .  It would appear that some knockoff designer from Nokla is trying for female appeal with their E81 concept, a phone that swivels like a compact.  This creates a phone with less volume, for certain, and the back even has a mirror, perfect for those quick make-up checks and applications.

Microsoft LifeCam Shoots in 720p HD

I realize that many shoot their own version of EdTV or The Truman Show with their webcams every day, what with this whole YouTube thing we keep hearing about. If that is you, then you may be interested in Microsoft’s LifeCam Cinema, which records in 720p HD at 30 frames per second.  The LifeCam Cinema also touts autofocus, 4x digital zoom, noise-canceling microphone, and ClearFrame for “smoother video” (whatever that is.)  It will support , and will be available for $80 on September 9th.

Myvu Crystal EVFor those who like the video googles, then you might want to check out Myvu’s video eyewear with the Crystal EV.  This uses Myvu’s Solid Optix technology, and is capable of “projecting 64 inch screen size”.  I have personally tried out an earlier version of the myvu, and I found it not to be as big of a screen as they boasted.  If you want video goggles with a fully immersible screen, then you should try the Vuzix.  But hey, maybe Myvu has improved on their earlier designs.
