Infrant Technologies 2 Terabyte ReadyNAS NV

For those of you in need of more data storage, Infrant Technologies has announced the newest product to their lineup of NAS devices, the ReadyNAS NV. The device has room for four hot-swappable SATA drives, a Gigabit Ethernet interface, a carrying handle (for quick getaways with company data), a cable lock (to deter quick getaways with company data), and the ability to configure the drives in a RAID 0, 1 or 5 array. The ReadyNAS NV is ready for digital media with a built-in UPnP media server that handles streaming media and is compatible with Mac, PC and Linux platforms. All of this storage goodness is packed into an 8"H x 5"W x 9"D chassis that comes in three flavors…the $649 bare model, 1TB ($1,119), 1.6TB ($1699), and the crown jewel of them all, 2TB ($2299).
