If you thought Taylor Momsen wasted little effort to achieve her daily appearance, you’d be right. The actress/singer known for collecting tips in her shoes prefers to spend less time getting ready in real life than she probably does on Gossip Girl.
In this clip for MTV, Momsen said there are five basic steps involved in her beauty routine. “Well, I shower…and then i put a ton of black on my eyes…and then i put lipstick on…and a little bit of blush….and don’t brush my hair. That’s pretty much what I do,” she said, adding: “And, you know, all the things that I won’t mention on TV.” Because…?

Pamela Anderson Not a Botox Fan

Busty blonde Pamela Anderson doesn’t feel the need to undergo plastic surgery in the hope of “chasing youth.”
The former Baywatch babe - who had a breast enlargement operation when she was 22 after appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine - admitted while she has had silicone implants, she would rather age naturally when it comes to her face.
“I haven’t done Botox. I don’t like all that facial stuff. It scares me. You see these people who have had it, and they all look the same. I just don’t think I should go that way, especially at 43. I think I should just age. I’ve never been the prettiest person, and I don’t feel I need to chase youth.”
The blonde beauty - who has two children, Brandon, 14, and 12-year-old Dylan with ex-husband Tommy Lee - also revealed she doesn’t use a huge amount of hair and beauty products and instead, prefers to opt for the “natural” look.
“I don’t put a lot of effort into myself with beauty products and haircare. I haven’t had a facial for a while. I like to be natural.”

The fashion industry may have come across bizarre looks (Valentino’s birdcage dress) and out-of-this world makeup (turning models into aliens for Alexander McQueen‘s Spring/Summer 2010 collection) lately, but nothing takes the cake like the presentation of Patrick Mohr’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection.
Bald, pale, and bearded, models were transformed into hideous men as they strutted their stuff down the runway at Berlin Fashion Week for Mohr. While models are known to resemble boyish statures (thin frame, flat chest), Mohr has gone so far as to take the idea one step further with his show’s makeup!
As for the clothes, the models looked frumpy in boxer shorts and pieces resembling monk apparel; also the plain red, black, and beige palette (sprinkled with a few prints) was quite dull for a Spring/Summer collection.
This is not the first time that the German fashion designer attempted to shock his audience. Last year, his show—titled The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions—featured homeless people alongside his professional models to present his collection, while his previous show, Are We Shaved?, starred extremely tan bodybuilders and thong-wearing transvestites sporting obvious breast implants.

Daphne Guinness Shimmers in New Nars Campaign

Daphne Guinness is the new face of Nars cosmetics.
The style icon - who recently modeled in Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief show to raise money for those affected by the Haiti earthquake disaster - has been selected by her friend Francois Nars to front the new campaign for the company, as he thought she was the perfect ambassador.
“She fits the image of the brand so well. She’s very creative and elegant and is a chameleon. And she really loves make-up - the whole process of it. Any makeup artist dreams of having someone like that as a muse.”

Talbots Hires Linda Evangelista

Fashion giant Talbots names Linda Evangelista as the face of their newest campaign.
The 44-year-old supermodel has been hired by the 63-year-old clothing company as it undergoes a re-branding. The mother-of-one was photographed last week by top fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for a glossy advertising campaign which will be launched in September.
“She possesses this timeless yet spontaneous glamour that’s irresistible in our minds,” said Talbots chief marketing officer Lori Wagner.
Linda, who fronted last year’s Prada Fall campaign and is the current face of L’Oreal Paris cosmetics, recently admitted she puts her make-up on 10 minutes. The beauty has learnt so many tricks during her 30-year career she only takes a few moments to perfect her appearance.
“I did my own make-up this morning and it takes 10 minutes, tops! My best trick is to do it in natural light. I keep all my make-up on a huge mirrored tray and I just take it to whatever window is looking good that day.”
Ashley Greene Lands Avon Deal

Eclipse actress Ashley Greene is the new face of Avon’s affordable beauty brand Mark.
The 23-year-old, who plays Alice Cullen in the hit vampire movie franchise, is “thrilled” to have signed a deal with the cosmetics firm, replacing The Hills star Lauren Conrad.
“I am thrilled to join the Mark family. Mark has been on my radar not only because of their great fashion and beauty products, but because the brand inspires young women to feel beautiful inside and out,” said Ashley, who will appear on a series of TV and magazine adverts.
“Ashley has a natural beauty, but I love that she experiments with fashion. She mixes it up and makes it her own. We have this mission of celebrating young women making their mark on the world. Ashley has set goals for herself and is achieving those goals,” said global president Claudia Poccia.
Ashley - whose first advertising campaign will launch this autumn - says she was attracted to the company because of its approach towards young girls: “What really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”
Kate Hudson is the New Face of Almay

Almay signs actress Kate Hudson on as their new celebrity spokesperson.
The 31-year-old actress - daughter of screen comedy legend Goldie Hawn - will front the new worldwide campaign for the cosmetics brand in her new role as Global Brand Ambassador.
Kate - who replaces model Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp - said in a statement, “Almay is known for its fresh, effortless approach to beauty. I share that philosophy and I’m honored to be partnering with a brand that believes cosmetics should bring out the natural beauty inside every woman. At the end of the day, we all want to have fun and feel beautiful - that’s what Almay is all about.”
The company’s vice president of marketing Thomas Lauinger admits the Bride Wars star “embodies” the look of the company: “Almay as a brand has a very loyal consumer base. They know and love Elaine, who has been the face for many years. But now we are really going to the next level with Almay with a fresh face that reflects the image and core values of the brand and Kate really embodies that for us.”

Posh has been named the World’s Most Glamorous Celebrity!
The former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer beat Dannii Minogue to top the table of stylish women in a poll of UK females by make-up brand Max Factor, which marks the launch of the firm’s Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss.
“Victoria Beckham has been gracing the fashion pages for years now with her glamorous looks and she has designed her own clothes range. She never leaves home without being fully made up and her signature glossy pout has become her calling card.”
The spokesperson also revealed how pregnant Dannii’s standing in the poll shot up after she appeared in a number of chic outfits last year when sitting on the judging panel of UK talent show The X Factor. He added, “Dannii Minogue has become more popular after showcasing a wide range of glamorous looks on The X Factor.”
There was no sign of Dannii’s co-judge Cheryl Cole, however, as pillow-lipped beauty Angelina Jolie completed the top three in the poll, which asked the opinions of 3,000 women.

Country-pop darling Taylor Swift gets her style inspiration from her fans.
The “Love Story” singer - who was recently named as the new face of cosmetic brand CoverGirl - says she looks at what other girls are wearing and gets ideas from them.
“I’m a big people-watcher. When I see a girl walking down the street wearing a really cool necklace or an outfit that’s put together in a way I wouldn’t have thought of, it’s inspiring to me. Also, girls come through my meet and greet lines every night wearing dresses or outfits I love. That’s really my favorite way to be inspired by fashion.”
Taylor, 20, was thrilled to sign-up to front the CoverGirl campaigns as make-up is something she has always loved as it can transform her look: “I love make-up. When I go on stage, I get to play with my look and try on all kinds of different colors - try red lips tonight, purple eyeshadow tomorrow. You get to play around with all these different characters, and I think that’s one of my favorite things about makeup - you can put on a new character.”
Although she is promoting cosmetics, Taylor has no plans to launch a clothing range. “I’m not planning on a fashion line right now. I’m really wrapped up in recording and writing my next album, so I’ve only taken on a few extra things lately. I love fashion and dressing up for red carpets, but I want to wait until I have enough time to dedicate to something like that.”
