Mac OS X Snow Leopard build 10A394 available for devs

Snow Leopard 10A394

Apple has just released a new developer build of , the first since . This one is Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard build 10A394, and is the first Snow Leopard dev update that is available simple by firing up Software Update. Just a word to the wise, after running the update, you’ll need to download and install Xcod 3.2 for Snow Leopard 10A394, and if you do iPhone development on your Snow Leopard system, you’ll need to download and re-install the 3.0 for Snow Leopard. Have fun!

Update: For those asking, yes, Dock Expose is live in this new build!

I have recently downloaded this update. pleased that apple put it as an update.
New features are great, but its quite buggy
the new expose isnt very smooth most of the time, and the mouse simply freezes for a minute or so on random occasions.
but other than that, this OS is fantastic. recommend it to any techies or beta testers.

I was wondering if you had heard of anyone with the same problem as me. I am currently running Snow Leopard Build 10A380, the WWDC version, but when I go to update to 10A394 via software update, it shows up, downloads, and begins to install when I restart, but then about 60% through installation, it says there’s a problem. It says the install file could not be found. Then I have to restart and I’m back in 10A380. When I try to copy the installer out of the Updates folder and do a manual install it still fails, saying there is no software to install. I have tried everything, repairing disk permissions, reverting to 10.5, then back to 10.6 again and nothing works. I can’t really find anyone else with this same problem, so I’m just curious if you knew of anything to try.
