Comic Book Jobs: Who’s Hiring? Marvel Studios (Again)!

Manhattan Beach VolleyballMarvel Studios, the entertainment (think TV, movie, online) division of Marvel Comics which is itself a division of the vast Disney empire, is hiring yet again. They’re looking for a Digital Distribution Manager which sounds very now. I smell an iPad in your future if you get this job.

As DDM, you’ll be responsible for managing “numerous aspects of Marvel Entertainment’s digital distribution and will report directly to the Vice President, Games & Digital Distribution.”

You’ll be overseeing day-to-day operations with Marvel’s online partnerships, big and small, handling site maintenance issues, coordinating “partner implementations” whatever that is, and analyzing traffic data to figure out better ways to squeeze out a few bucks.

Naturally, you’ll need some experience, like 5-years’ worth in some sort of online environment, “preferably in a content-oriented capacity.” And you won’t survive the interview if you don’t have “excellent people management and communication skills.”

Also, too, Manhattan Beach? A great place to play volleyball with thousands of your friends.
