EndScore Report: How Good Is Eli Manning?
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Athletes, NFL,
In this edition of EndScore Report, DV and Chris debate the worth of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Manning quickly put himself on the level of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. While Manning does own one Super Bowl title, Brady has three and is arguably the best best quarterback of his generation. Manning isn't even in the top five of NFL throwers! So, where does he belong? LISTEN to our thoughts on this!

EndScore Report: In Your Face Pippen and Goodell
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Athletes, NBA, News, NFL,
In this edition of "In Your Face," DV and Chris throw down on Scottie Pippen for his remarks last week of LeBron James being better than Michael Jordan. To paraphrase a new movie coming out, six titles is all the argument you need to say that Jordan is the best. Well, on top of everything else, like him transcending the sport of basketball like Babe Ruth for baseball. We also wag our finger at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for taking sides. Sure, he's employed by the owners, but when it comes to settling arguments between them and the players, he should at least try to be neutral to make sure there's football in the fall. LISTEN UP!

The National Lacrosse League is a growing business in North America and with good reason; their brand of lacrosse mixes elements of other major North American sports with lacrosse to create an exciting on-field product that is attracting more and more fans each season. With 11 teams in the league and some of the most raucous crowds in attendance, the NLL is definitely something worth checking out.

Just where exactly is Detroit anyway?
Does anybody know where Detroit, Michigan is? Clearly sport doesn’t. Detroit has a franchise in each of the four major North American Sports, the Pistons (NBA), Lions (NFL), Red Wings (NHL), and Tigers (MLB), and all of them are in a different geographically-defined league or conference, based on the sport they play in. Detroit itself is a part of the Midwestern United States, as defined by the United States Census Bureau. However, in the world of sport, Detroit is the nexus of North America.

Went 2-0 with the Indianapolis Colts-New York Jets and New Orleans Saints-Minnesota Vikings match-ups. Season record hits 51-37. Look for the Indianapolis Colts to defeat the New Orleans Saints at Super Bowl XLIV. The Saints defense wants to punish Peyton Manning and the Colts defense may be without a healthy DE Dwight Freeney.

The legacy of the trading card
Remember trading cards? You probably do. Those two-inch by three-inch photographs of yesteryear’s most beloved sports heroes and villains certainly had a special place in many a child’s daily activities. Trading with friends at school for your favorite player was always a thrill, but it was just as difficult to part with non-duplicates, even if it was some unknown like Bruce Hurst. Sets of trading cards were sought after with one goal in mind: collect them all.

Voting for the All-Star Games
We’re nearing that point of the year where people begin to think about the All-Star games and the Pro Bowl. Millions of fans worldwide are sending in their votes for who they would like to see in the spotlight. It is only because of the 2010 Winter Olympics that the NHL is not having an All-Star game this season, but their selection process is similar to the other major sports. The fan-selection process is highly contested by many who argue that the fans lack the proper dedication to vote for the “true” stars in sports. But which fans are right?
