Jay-Z brought lots of excitement to the University of Kentucky’s men’s basketball team last week when he treated them to a post-game locker room visit. The Wildcats were already riding high following the NCAA tournament game which landed them in the Final Four of the Division I tournament. But, Jay-Z crossed the line with the visit for one important reason: he’s a mogul, not an ordinary fan.

Report: Beyonce Knowles Pregnant

Could Beyonce Knowles be on way to having her own "Baby Boy"?
According to several reports, the 29-year-old singer is expecting her first child with rapper Jay-Z. The two have been married sine April 2008.
"B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet," an insider told Us Weekly. "She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again." Despite the surprise, another source claims the performer recognizes that "this is a gift from God and she's so happy."
Earlier this month, Beyonce -- who is supposedly in her first trimester -- made an appearance with Tina Knowles (her fashion designer mother) on the Today show. Check out the clip above and see if you notice anything different about her. Is that "glow" really about her mom?

Kanye’s all-star album line-up for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

M.I.A, La Roux and Alicia Keys, among others, are set to appear on Kanye West’s new album. The ‘Runaway’ rapper announced his fifth album will be called ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ earlier this week, and while Kanye has previously confirmed certain stars will appear - including Jay-Z, RZA and Beyonce Knowles - it seems his guest list is much longer than previously thought. As well as those previously mentioned, Kanye said he’s also been in the studio with Kid Cudi, Mos Def and Santigold and that indie musician Justin Vernon is “all over” the album.
One track which has already been leaked, ‘Lost In The World’, features Justin’s vocals. Kanye’s celebrity album cast could be part of his striving to fill the gap left by ‘King Of Pop’ Michael Jackson’s sudden death last year, a role he sees himself in line to fulfill. He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “With the passing of Michael Jackson, I feel a responsibility to bring things to our generation that can inspire and bring real culture to pop culture. I don’t sleep anymore thinking how we are going to fill this gap, and create something to inspire on the level he did.”
Although Kanye has mentioned a large number of people involved with ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, he lines are blurred between which artists will appear on the commercially released album and who will appear in his G.O.O.D Fridays series, which has so far seen mainly extended and remixed versions of tracks from the albums featuring a number of rappers and producers. ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ will be released on November 22.

Although we normally see Justin Timberlake doing musical collaborations with Andy Samberg, that doesn’t mean he can’t pair up with other SNL vets.
On yesterday’s broadcast of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake and Fallon—with assistance from house band The Roots—celebrated ‘A History of Rap’ with an impressive medley. (Artists highlighted in the performance include Jay-Z, The Sugarhill Gang, Beastie Boys, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliott, Digital Underground and Kanye West.)

Jay-Z, Coldplay to Celebrate New Year’s in Vegas

Pals Jay-Z and Chris Martin have made plans to ring in 2011 together.
On December 31, the rapper will join Coldplay for a double-billing in Las Vegas. That’s when the acts will headline their own sets at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Never heard of the Cosmpolitan? Well, that’s because the casino/resort doesn’t even open until December 15.
The musical event, which will be broadcast on the hotel’s large marquee, is considered part of a three-day, invitation-only celebration.

Glee Music: Season 2, Episode 1

Glee didn’t just top the ratings charts last season, it orchestrated plenty of musical chart-toppers in its own right. The September 21 premiere of Season 2 will be jam-packed with exciting tunes that represent a mix of musical genres.
Jay-Z‘s “Empire State of Mind,” Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” and three Broadway standards—“What I Did for Love,” “Getting to Know You” and “Listen”—will all be featured in the premiere episode.
