WowWee Cinemin Suite Projectors

WowWee, the company that brought us Robosapiens and animatronic creatures, has now branched out. They have a series of iPod compatible multimedia pico projectors powered by TI’s DLP technology. The Cinemin Suite’s Swivel is a lightweight micro projector that has an adjustable 90º hinge to adjust the lens, full volume control and a 3 hr. battery life. The Stick has an internal memory with an expandable SD card slot. The Station is somewhat larger but includes an iPod docking station and media center. Unveiled at the CES, no price has been announced.

Priced at under $200.00, connect to your home wireless 802.11 network and have access to over 11,000 Internet stations. You can also listen to MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and Real files stored on a WiFi PC. The radio comes with an aux-audio cable to use with your iPod, MP3 player or any other audio device with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

iLuv iMM183 Speaker Dock

iLuv has unveiled its iMM183 Speaker Dock. With room for both iPhone and iPod 4G or later, it can, like its older brother iMM173, play from either, has a built-in alarm clock, FM tuner and an aux-in jack for other audio sources on the 6W stereo. Add to that weather texted alerts from NOAA and SAME. They come through preset channels and up to 10 of them can be archived. An LED flashes to let the user know there is a new catastrophe brewing. The iMM183 should be out in March with a price probably close to the 173’s $150.00 mark.

Using an additional lens on your iPhone can’t get much simpler than with this Wide Angle Lens. It attaches either directly or with a magnetic ring with self-adhesive tape. Pure AVANTI Flow Audio System

Pure has released a new tabletop digital audio system, the AVANTI Flow. It accesses DAB and FM radio, Internet stations and podcasts, and other streamed audio. You can also listen to tunes from your computer in hi-fi quality through its iPod dock that will work with most models. The Flow features Clearsound that utilizes class D amps and digital audio shaping technology. The system also has a subwoofer, an OLED display, 30 DAB and 10 FM presets, and is available now for £279.99 (~$404.00.)

ION LP Dock USB Turntable

LP Dock ION’s LP Dock allows you to transfer your old records directly to your iPod. Countries such as the UK, Australia and South Africa report the same findings. One incident involved a man who wanted his Bluetooth headset in his ear. Others involve families who put iPod earphones on their deceased loved ones and played a tune when the casket closed. We hope they used some decent batteries.
