Demi Lovato Has Self-Harmed Since Rehab
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Television, Child Stars, Meltdowns,
Demi Lovato has relapsed into self-harming and throwing up since leaving rehab.
The "Skyscraper" singer - who was admitted to a treatment facility for three months in November 2010 to receive help for an eating disorder and self-harming - admitted she can never fully recover from her issues but is doing everything she can to keep them under control.
Speaking in her new Stay Strong documentary on MTV, she said, "I cannot tell you that I have not thrown up since treatment. I cannot tell you that I have not cut myself since treatment. I'm not perfect. An addiction is an obsession, something that takes over your mind and your every thought. You think that you can't live without it. For me, it was not eating and purging and self-harming."
Demi - who was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder while in treatment - added that her troubles stemmed from insecurity and feeling she was "living a lie."
"[I was] looking in the mirror and never feeling good enough. I felt like I was living a lie...I was dealing with all this pain, emotionally. And I felt guilt and shame. I decided to take it out on myself. I harmed myself," she added.

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Television, Pregnancies, Style,
Jessica Simpson found out she was pregnant thanks to pre-cocktail "guilt."
The 31-year-old Fashion Star mentor - who is expecting her first-born with fiancé Eric Johnson - admits she was overcome by bad feelings as she prepared for a drinking session: "We were going to have an all-day drinking binge. Going to ride our bikes, hang out ... do naughty things. But I started feeling this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with my friends?"
A pregnancy test confirmed her suspicions, and Jessica is expected to give birth to a baby girl this spring.
But the Dukes of Hazzard actress is praying her daughter inherits her sense of style: "I swear I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic. We're going to have this athletic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping."

Will Ferrell lost his virginity at the age of 21.
The 44-year-old actor - who now has three sons with wife Viveca Paulin - first became intimate with a woman during his junior year of college, and admitted the experience felt like "the way it was supposed to happen."
"In my mind's eye, it seemed like the way it was supposed to happen."
However, the Anchorman actor explained his mother thought he had lost his virginity during his high school years to a girl who was particularly popular with his male classmates. "She said, 'If you slept with this girl, you'd better slap a condom on that pecker of yours,'" he added, speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone.
Will's college years in the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at the University of Southern California also saw him strip off on a number of occasions to impress his fellow classmates. "In college, they had this thing where you'd run naked on fraternity row, and if anyone challenged me, I'd be happy to do it."

Christina Ricci admits having her eating disorder outed at the age of 14 was a "devastating" experience.
The Bel Ami actress - who shot to fame as a child after appearing in the Addams Family franchise - explained while it was a "horrifying" thing to have happen, it made her vow to be "completely honest" for the rest of her life so no one could ever uncover any more of her secrets.
"Somebody actually found out about it and outed me while I was recovering. It was a horrifying thing to do to a 14-year-old trying to cope with a devastating illness. 'Out of rage, I vowed that no one would ever be able to out me for a secret again. So I was going to be completely honest in the rest of my life. I don't want to be hurt in that way again," she told British Marie Claire.
The 32-year-old star admitted becoming famous at such a young age meant it took her "a while" to be comfortable with who she is:

Elizabeth Olsen Loves Auditioning

Elizabeth Olsen loves auditioning - even though she no longer has to.
The Martha Marcy May Marlene actress admits she likes to go into a casting meeting and read aloud so she knows those behind a film know exactly what they are going to get when they work with her.
"I love auditioning. I've always liked it. It's so funny -- now I don't really audition. You have meetings and I'm like, 'I'll read for you. Do you want me to read for you?' Because I like it. I think it's an important part of the process where you get to say, 'This is what I've thought. Do you jive with it?'"
Elizabeth - who is the sister of famous twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - won a lot of critical acclaim for her role in Martha Marcy... and is now excited to "have choices'', but is finding it means she is signing up to every movie role she is being offered.

The Winter Kate designer may be a mentor on American show Fashion Star, but says when she's at home, she is anything but.
"I'll tell you right now that no one's calling me a fashion icon. Now that you mentioned it, I'm going to start requesting that Joel start calling me that once every day, at least."
The 30-year-old former party girl - who is also the brain behind accessories line House of Harlow - has now branched out into fragrances with her new scent set to hit the stores in autumn.
"I knew exactly what I wanted to do because my mum would wear a combination of a few different oils and a few different lotions. It's a smell that's very special to me and reminds me of my mum," she told USA Today, explaining her perfume choice.

Mila Kunis: No One Ever Asks Me Out
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Dating,
Mila Kunis claims she never gets asked out on dates.
The Black Swan actress - who split from Macaulay Culkin in 2011 after eight years of dating - explained she has been so busy with her career over the past year that she hasn't had time to think about meeting a potential partner.
"I don't get asked out. This past year, I haven't been home, so who's going to ask me?"
However, the 28-year-old beauty admitted she has become "besties" with her cherished beverage of wine, and would rather stay at home and chill out than go to a wild party. "I don't go out very often. I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage and watch television. My glass of wine and I are besties," she added to Harper's Bazaar.
Mila also explained her body has "never been the same" since she got down to just 95 pounds for her role as ballerina Lily in Black Swan, and she would actually like her bottom to get "bigger."

Adele’s Studio Breakdown
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Pop,
Adele had "a breakdown" when she started recording in America.
The "Someone Like You" hitmaker was overwhelmed to team up with producer Rick Rubin for her album 21 because the studio they worked in, Shangri-La in Malibu, had previously been used by some of her heroes including Johnny Cash and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"The first day I had a breakdown. I lost it and started crying and had to go for a walk on the beach to sort myself out. After that, I was fine though I still had the odd moment. Between a take, Rick would talk to his engineer and say, 'Remember when we had this problem with Johnny Cash?' Then one day Kid Rock dropped by to do a vocal for something while I was outside having a fag. It all felt like an out-of-body experience."
Adele also admitted she "panicked" when stricken with writer's block on the road at a time she planned to pen the follow-up to her debut album 19: "I always hoped I could write when I was on tour but I couldn't do it. How did I cope? I didn't. I f***ing panicked."
Christina Ricci Inspired By Youth
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Columbia Pictures, Drama, Celeb News, New Releases,
Christina Ricci draws on "certain incidents" from her youth for her work.
The 32-year-old beauty - who does not talk to her father following his divorce from her mother - likes to use her "emotional memories" to get into character but also thinks about adult experiences to do the same thing.
"I have a good relationship with my mother and I just don't like to talk about my father. How I was raised and the memories of certain incidents in my childhood - I bring those emotional memories to things I need to use at work. Definitely. But I also use things that happened to me as an adult in the same way."
The Bel Ami star is not upset by her unconventional upbringing as she believes everyone has stories from their past. "I managed to be the black sheep of the family. I have an unconventional background but what's average these days? We're all interesting in our own ways," she added to Marie Claire.
Olivia Wilde Inspired By Kristen Wiig
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: New Line, Comedy, Celeb News, Upcoming Releases,
Olivia Wilde "worships" Kristen Wiig. The TRON: Legacy actress is a huge fan of the Bridesmaids actress because she proves it is possible to be sexy as well as funny.
Talking about her new role in comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone - which also stars Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi - Olivia said, "I auditioned for it, which I love. You feel more secure. I competed against some wonderful comedians - real comedians - and was this wild card. I know Steve Carell, who's producing the film, didn't expect anything from me. I don't see why sexuality and comedy have to be mutually exclusive. That's a tragic concept when it comes to women - you can be sexy and funny. I think Kristen Wiig is the perfect example; she's quirky and nerdy and, like, 'I'm a f***ing sexbomb but also the funniest person you've ever met.' And I worship her for that."
Olivia is also keen to shake off her sex symbol image and may not be so open with her sexuality in the future.
"I was very sexually mature at a very young age. I was very comfortable with it, and once someone hears a young woman speaking candidly about sexuality, it's like, 'Whoa!' You get labeled," the 27-year-old beauty told GQ magazine.
