Tom Hiddleston wants to star in a comedy.
The British actor is currently playing villain Loki in The Avengers, but admitted he would love to work on a movie where he gets to wear normal clothes and make people laugh.
"I'm desperate for it. I'm telling everyone. I'm putting out the feelers for jeans and a t-shirt. And comedy. I want to make people laugh. I want to slip on a banana skin and walk into a lamppost," he said.
Although he compares him to Adolf Hitler, Tom believes there is hope that Loki can be redeemed as a character: "He's laboring under the delusion that he'll create some kind of world peace by uniting the human race in reverence of one king. And it's an identity search. He's desperate. He needs to belong. He's so lacking in self esteem, that just like someone like Hitler, he needs to fill the void with adulation."

Michelle Rodriguez looks set to reprise her role in the sixth Fast and the Furious movie.
The 33-year-old actress is in line to take on the part of Letty Ortiz for the third time in the film franchise since she first played the character - the love interest of Dominic Toretto, who is portrayed by Vin Diesel - in 2001, Variety reports.
Vin, Paul Walker and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson have all been confirmed to star in the follow up to 2011 movie Fast Five, and Rihanna has also been linked with the forthcoming production, which Justin Lin is set to return to direct.
Michelle also looks set to reprise her role as Luz/She in Machete Kills, the sequel to 2010 action motion picture Machete, which starred Robert DeNiro, Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan. Danny Trejo is due to return to take up the titular role of Machete Cortez, a blade-wielding Mexican Federale, and Mel Gibson is expected to play arms dealer Luther Voz, who aims to wreak havoc around the world by launching a missile. Production for the movie - which is directed by Robert Rodriguez and is also thought to see Jessica return - will start later this month in Texas.

Daniel Craig says Skyfall will be a "very funny" film.
The 44-year-old actor - who is reprising his role of James Bond in the forthcoming motion picture - revealed his alter-ego shows his humoros side in a scene with go-go dancers, and Daniel thought it was "about time" he showed his humouros side in the film franchise.
"The humor is not something we try to do but it just comes from the situations. I think there are some very funny lines in it but then I have a very dark sense of humor, so others might not agree with me," he said. "Go-go dancers. It's not something I have done before and I thought it was about time I showed that part of myself," he replied when asked about what would be different in this film.
Daniel insists that Skyfall feels like a more "old-fashioned Bond movie" in the franchise's 50th year thanks to its "great" Istanbul setting, and he has enjoyed reprising the "challenging" role for the third time.

Anjelica Huston Finds Filming Cathartic

Anjelica Huston liked appearing in 50/50 as it allowed her to "legally cry."
The actress took time out from her career following the death of her husband Robert Graham from a rare blood disease in 2008, and she admits she was glad to work on the comedy movie - about life and death and cancer - because she could get tearful.
"It was extremely cathartic. Every day I could legally cry, which was important to me. I was living it the way I lived it. My work has always reflected my life," she said.
Following his death Anjelica - who is also known for her relationship with Jack Nicholson - left Los Angeles and she thinks it helped her begin to get over her grief: "It takes me away from the pain I was going through in the last few years, with death and being in a house that I knew at some point I would have to move away from. Change is sometimes very painful. A new person emerges from the chrysalis of who you were and you go from feeling vulnerable to feeling that something brilliant has changed your life for the better."

Mark Ruffalo felt "pressure" portraying The Hulk in The Avengers.
The 44-year-old actor took on the role of the green monster for the first time in the superhero movie, but he was nervous about following in the footsteps of "great artists" Edward Norton and Eric Bana, who previously played the part in 2008's The Incredible Hulk and 2003 movie Hulk respectively.
"Yeah there was pressure, I was definitely aware of the great artists who came before and did it and I knew I had a responsibility to get the part right and do it justice," he said.
Despite feeling anxious about portraying The Hulk, Mark believes he was "born to play the part" because he thinks the green monster was the "coolest" comic book character. Speaking at the European Premiere of The Avengers at Westfield London's Vue Cinema Thursday night, he added, "I was born to play the part. When I was a kid I most identified with The Hulk and I was a big fan of his and out of any of the comic book characters he was the one I thought was the coolest."
The Avengers hits theaters on May 4.

Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman Transformation

Anne Hathaway had to "physically transform" to play Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.
The One Day actress is the latest in a long line of stars including Eartha Kitt and Michelle Pfeiffer to play the formidable character in the forthcoming Christopher Nolan-directed sequel, and she admits it was tough to get into shape to fit into the famous suits she wears.
"I had to physically transform. Chris sat me down at the beginning and said, 'Joseph Gordon-Levitt did all his own fighting in Inception. That one zero-gravity fight. He trained for two months.' I basically left his office and went to the gym and just came out about five minutes ago," she said.
Commenting on the character, who is also known as Selena Kyle, Chris claims she represents an "underlying" sense of darkness in the film, which is the last he will direct. "She has a very strong way of protecting herself and those she cares about, which implies an underlying darkness," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Mark Ruffalo’s Superhero Costume Problems

Mark Ruffalo felt like an "a******" wearing a leotard while shooting The Avengers.
The Kids Are All Right actor plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the forthcoming Marvel movie, and while he didn't mind losing weight for the role he was embarrassed wearing a small body suit.
"I did a cleanse that was like hell. I lost 21 pounds and I've kept about 15 off. I quite like it - it's good to be a little trimmer. I felt like such an a****** wearing The Hulk's little leotard though. When they were designing it, I was like, 'How about adding a codpiece?', 'Some ass pads?' It's not very flattering."
However, he is excited he is now playing the opposite to his usual nice guy roles: "They say you always play the opposite of yourself the best, so I must be b*****d! I'm interested in the people you might write off immediately, but can then be surprised by. I get that a lot about myself."
Jason Biggs Will Always be Known for Pie Sex Scene

Jason Biggs will "never live down" being the "guy who f**ked a pie." The 33-year-old actor - who plays Jim Levenstein in the American Pie franchise - admitted while he has lived most of his life being the "pie guy," in reference to his character masturbating with the use of a warm dessert in the first movie, he is "proud" of the now infamous scene.
"I'll never live down being the guy who f**ked a pie. I've lived almost more of my life being the 'pie guy' than I have not being that guy. But I'm proud of that scene and what it meant for my career, my personal life, my finances - everything. It took balls to do that scene."

Rihanna: Battleship Made Me Fearless

Rihanna says appearing in Battleship has made her fearless.
The 24-year-old singer makes her acting debut opposite Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker in the movie and identified a lot with her character Petty Officer Cora Raikes.
"Definitely, I'm a fighter. I was able to identify with the character in lots of ways. She's tough and focused. But embodying her also helped me to become more fearless. I had an incredible experience on Battleship. I learned a lot about myself. I had to ask myself a lot of questions to get in touch with the right emotions. And it was great working as a team, for the first time in a long while it wasn't all about me."
Rihanna admitted she has always wanted to star in an action movie and is delighted by the finished movie: "Funnily enough, action was what I wanted to do. It seemed badass and cool. I didn't imagine I'd be fighting aliens, but Battleship was a great way to get into movies and it was a role I could do. I was blown away when I saw it. It's really fun."
