Lindsay Lohan Surveillance Video Sold

As we reported last week, there is about forty-five minutes of video surveillance that shows Lindsay Lohan inside the jewelry store where she allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace. The entire crime has been recorded by cameras.
And now, a single Beverly Hills company owns all that footage. Despite the fact that the surveillance video is still part of an ongoing court case, the video has been sold to The Spencer Co. On a new website created just for the video, the company promises that will bring the footage to viewers “shortly.”
According to the teaser page, “the tapes speak for themselves.” Yeah, that’s what we heard too. But that isn’t the same as seeing, and so far the site offers no definite times or dates. The Spencer Co. is working with the Associated Press on releasing the footage. It has been rumored that the jewelry store itself sold the video, though nothing official has been offered by any of the parties involved.

What Does the Lindsay Lohan Surveillance Video Prove or Disprove?

TMZ has talked to some of the people who have reviewed the surveillance footage from Kamofie & Company, the jewelry store from which Lindsay Lohan allegedly lifted a $2500 necklace... and from what we’re hearing, the video shows that Linds didn't exactly pull off the crime of the century.
Reportedly, Lohan talked to the owner of the store before leaving, wearing the necklace almost the entire time she was inside. In the video, Lindsay tries on the necklace, looks at herself in the mirror and speaks to the owner while still wearing it around her neck. She took off the necklace she was already wearing in order to try on the one that could get her sent back to jail.
The necklace remained on her, in plain view, for the next 45 minutes as she continued to try on various pieces of jewelry within the store. She slipped her own necklace back on before leaving, but the store’s necklace was still plainly visible underneath.
