Video Transcript:

Hey guys Andru Edwards here, and today I wanted to talk to you about another Budget Tech Buy. Apple announced the new iPhone 7, and it’ll be available in 32, 128, and 256GB configurations, with each costing $100 more than the last. I’m gonna show you how you can increase the storage on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch by 32GB for less than Apple would charge you for that next storage tier with the Nulaxy Lightning to USB Flash Drive.

By now if you’re a huge Apple fan, you’ve probably picked up the new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, but chances are if you chose the 32GB model of either device, you may be in need of some extra storage space. Or, even if you have one of the larger storage devices, you may just want to carry some extra media around with you without taking up that precious space on the phone itself. That’s where the Nulaxy USB Flash Drive comes in - and if it’s something you think might work for you, I’ll leave a link in the description below so you can check it out on Amazon.

This little device works like any standard USB 3.0 flash drive, but it’s got one extra trick up its sleeve. You see, on one side, you’ve got the USB connector that allows you to plug into your Mac or PC, and on the other you’ve got a Lightning connector which can plug into an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

This means you can use your computer to put content like photos, videos, and documents onto the drive, and when you want to access them on the go, you simply plug it into your iOS device, and there they are. Setup is easy - as you can see, when I plug it into this iPhone 7 Plus for the first time, it prompts me to download the appropriate app that allows me to access the data on the drive. Right out of the box the app supports your standard Office document files, PDFs, images, movies, music, and more. The one caveat here is that it won’t store DRM content.

In order to use it on the go, you’ll need a device that’s running iOS 7.1 or higher, which means that iOS devices released in the past 5 years should all be good here as long as you’ve kept the software updated. One nice touch is that the Lightning connector extends out a bit, so you can even use this if you’ve got a case on your phone.

So there you have it, a nice, simple way to give your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch some breathing room when it comes to storage, and you can pick it up right now on Amazon. Now I wanna hear from you - did you pick up the new iPhone? If so, what color and size capacity did you get? Drop a like on this video if you enjoyed this one, and be sure to click or tap on my face in order to get subscribed to find out about our upcoming iPhone 7 Plus giveaway! Thanks for watching as always, I’m Andru Edwards, and I’ll catch you in the next video.
