Nintendo has released a Special Edition DS Lite that comes with the software Personal Trainer Cooking. Available in lime green, it also includes a floral pouch and has a price of $149.99. A DSi version is also available in Japan. We wonder who came up with the idea as no mother we know digs cooking all that much or lime green.

MJW New Decider Watch
Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Wearables, Design, Misc. Tech
Crispin Jones, of the MJW watches and the Tengu, has a new design. The New Decider helps you make those split second choices. When someone asks you a question, simply look at the magnified dial for a yes/no answer. While it may not be the correct answer, you can always reinforce it by rechecking the watch (or blaming it.) The Decider is only available in a Special Edition of 100 with its number engraved on the back of the case for $145.00.

You know those Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones that we are such big fans of? Well, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers got a visit from my boy Kevin Lee over at Monster, and he brought them all a pair of the ever-so-elusive red Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones. We got a bunch of photos, straight out of the Cavs locker room, and they all look fairly happy with their gifts. All of a sudden, our glossy black Beats don’t look so exciting anymore…hit the gallery for a look at the Cavs receiving their custom red Beats.

Unboxing Live 036: HP Pavilion DV6885SE Special Edition notebook
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Features, Laptop, PC, Videocasts
We open up the HP Pavilion DV6885 notebook in this edition of Unboxing Live. We were completely amazed back when we saw it at CES, because of what we consider to be the machine’s striking beauty. If you are looking for a computer that goes against the status quo in the looks department, check this one out. The copper finish (which I believe is officially called “Clay” by HP) is as against the grain as you are going to get - plus, the specs aren’t too shabby either. You can find this one online for about $1,000 USD. Full feature list after the jump.
Check out the video above for the full unboxing. If you are interested, check out our other HP coverage.

Microsoft will be releasing a special edition of Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 in colors, no doubt in an attempt to get in on the fru-fru crowd. Choose between pomegranate, dragon fruit, aloe, creme brulee, and milk chocolate. Like its duller brother, the mouse features its MS Intelligent Tracking System and a compact shape with rubber side grips and finger grooves. Look for the 3000 next month at Best Buy and other retailers in June for $29.95.

Xbox 360 Price Drop Now Official; Pricing On Halo 3 Xbox 360 Announced
Posted by Chris Pereira Categories: Corporate News, Hardware, Microsoft, Special Editions, Xbox 360
As we reported last week the Xbox 360 will be seeing a price drop for each of its three SKUs. The Core model will drop $20 from $299.99 to $279.99, the Premium will drop $50 from $399.99 to $349.99, and the Elite will drop $30 from $479.99 to $449.99. I stand by my statement that this price drop makes little to no sense, because the cost of a Core system plus a 512MB memory card is only $20 less than the Premium now costs.
In related news, the Halo 3 edition Xbox 360’s pricing has finally been revealed to be $399.99. Keep in mind it has a 20GB hard drive, which is what comes with the Premium SKU. The Elite has a 120GB hard drive, which can also be purchased a standalone drive for the steep price of $179.99.
Bear in mind, these price drops don’t go into effect until tomorrow, Wednesday, August 8, and only in the US.
Samsung Becomes Official in Gold
Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Cell Phones, Corporate News

Samsung has been chosen as the official phone for the 2008 Olympics, so of course it will arrive in a Special Edition 18k gold. The P318+ will feature extras such as special wallpaper, ringtones, and video clips, and will display an Olypic stamp on the case. Although there are no details on price and/or availability, we know that John Tesh does the music for some of the Olympic festivities, so we are thinking that they should include him in at least one of the wallpaper choices. In our version he looks rather natty, don’t you think?
