2010 will come to an end in just a few short hours, and we are just in time with our annual top 10 list of the most-watched Gear Live video episodes. Over the past year, as expected, there was a bunch of Apple gear that made the list, but Microsoft gets the top two spots with our Xbox 360 dashboard tour, and the an unboxing of the new Xbox 360 slim. Also getting an honorable mention is the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Popcorn Hour Popbox, among others.
We were able to catch up with Dual, a company that is bringing GPS functionality to the iPod touch. Get a look at the Dual iPod touch GPS add-on, which also acts as an external battery for the iPod touch as well, and check out how it works with the Dual GPS app, as well as every other iPod touch app that requires GPS. This is definitely one to watch.
A big thank you to Bing for sponsoring Gear Live’s CES 2010 coverage.
It isn’t enough that you are fighting with traffic, your cell phone, and GPS while driving, not to mention the dreaded back seat driver hammering in your ear. Hyundai will soon be releasing an in-dash dual monitor into the company’s Grandeur. So while you watch the road, the map, and listen to your missed messages, you can also be distracted by your passenger watching a DVD. We think we would rather sit that one out, thank you very much.
