Bleeding Edge TV 392: Belkin Bluetooth Keyboard Folio for iPad 2

We chat with Belkin about their Keyboard Folio in this episode, shot at GDGT Seattle 2011. The Belkin Keyboard Folio is a Bluetooth iPad 2 keyboard that folds into a case. The keys are TruType, which means that they aren't mushy like a lot of other iPad keyboards, and instead feel like real laptop keys. When you're done, the keyboard tucks away, and the folio acts as a protective case. It also has adjustable angles to maximize viewing and typing modes. You can grab one for $99.

Big thank you to GoToMeeting and JackThreads for sponsoring the show - be sure to check them out! As for JackThreads, we've got exclusive invite codes that give you $5 to use towards anything you'd like.

Microsoft’s Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 is ultra thin

Microsoft's Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000

Microsoft is jumping on that whole thin-is-in bandwagon with the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. As the name implies, this is a -only device, powered by AAA batteries. The keyboard slopes downward, making the front event thinner. There’s also a curved keyboard layout, which refers to as Comfort Curve. The keyboard is $89.95, and the numeric keypad is an extra $44.95. You’ll see these on store shelves in October.
