10 gadget sightings in Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance music video

's music video have typically always featured some sort of high tech gadget, more often than not she has someone from the line, among other things, prominently displayed. Earlier today, her Bad Romance music video was released, and we thought we'd take a moment to highlight ten sightings of tech and gadgetry that we spotted while watching.

Apple iPod classic

Hey, if you are gonna feature gadgets in a music video, you might as well bring in the iconic digital audio player that made everyone into a geek, right? The Apple is the first gadget featured in Bad Romance. Deservedly so, we say. You can pick up the 160GB iPod classic from Apple for $249.

Parrot Zikmu by Philippe Starck Wireless Speakers

Parrot Zikmu by Phillipe Starck

The aforementioned iPod classic is connected toa pair of Parrot Zikmu by Phillipe Starck wireless stereo speakers. If you haven't heard of them, it's probably because they are way out of your (and my) price range. A pair costs $1,600, and upon placing an order, you need to wait about a month for them to arrive, since they are a special order. They do support Wi-Fi, 2.1, and iPod / compatibility though, if that's any consolation. If you've got the spare cash to burn, you can pick up the Parrot Zimku here.

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga In-ear Headphones

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga Bad Romance

The Heartbeats by Lady Gaga in-ear headphones are actually a part of the Beats by Dr. Dre headphone line. Apparently, Lady Gaga loved the Beats so much that she worked in collaboration with Monster Cable and Dr. Dre to come up with her own sub-label. As you can see, the appearance of the Heartbeats is fairly unique. The Heartbeats sell for $120, but you can pre-order them from Amazon for $99. If you want them immediately, you can get them at Best Buy or BeatsByDre.com at full price.

Nintendo Wii Nunchuk

Bad Romance Wii Nunchuk

Yeah, a Nunchuk controller is featured prominently in the Bad Romance music video. Prominently as in, shown multiple times. It seems that the Nunchuk actually controls Lady Gaga in the video, despite not being connected to a Wii Remote, and without there being any Wii to be seen. Welcome to the future. Wii Nunchuks typically sell for $20, but Newegg has them for $17.99, and Amazon's got them for $17.49, depending on how you roll.

Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Headphones

Bad Romance HP Envy 15 Beats

The Beats by Dr. Dre headphones have appeared in every single Lady Gaga music video to date, and Bad Romance is no different. We can't be mad at that, since the Beats are our personal headphone of choice. They can be at from Amazon for $299, and Newegg has them at that price as well.

Wii Nunchuk...Again

And...Again. Wii Nunchuk

Yeah, just make sure to collect that royalty check from Nintendo!

HP Envy 15 Beats Edition

As far as cool PC notebooks go, the HP Envy is pretty high up on the list. The top of the line version would be the HP Envy Beats Limited Edition. Why? Well, for starters, they include a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones, as well as a custom version of Beats audio software as well, that you just won't find anywhere else. There is also a Beats key on the keyboard, but we aren't exactly sure of its purpose. You can order the HP Envy Beats limited edition notebook from HP Direct for $2,299, or from Amazon at the same price.

Weird Metallic Chin Strap

Bad Romance Face Brace

We aren't quite sure what to refer to this thing as, but it looks like some sort of stupid chin strap. No idea where to find a metallic version, but feel free to buy the regular version on Amazon for $21.95, and glue some shards of scrap metal to it to finish off the look.

Chest Sparklers

Bad Romance Chest Sparkler

This Austin Powers-esque chestpiece shoots sparklers out of it, and we were quite frankly a bit scared to actually dig into the bowels of the internets to find out exactly where to pick up something like this, and what it would cost. Let's just call it priceless, mkay? Total So if you wanted to mimic the Bad Romance music video (and really, who doesn't?), you'd need to spend about $4585. And that's not counting the chestplate of doom. Do us a favor? If you actually do choose to mimic Lady Gaga, wares and all, send us a picture? We appreciate it.
