5 features that make the Nokia Lumia 920 shine

Nokia Lumia 920 yellow

Yesterday Nokia announced its new Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphone. If you're in the market for a new device, this is one you'll want to take a look at. While there was no specific launch date named, there were a few features that definitely caught our eye. In fact, we've compiled the top five Nokia Lumia 920 features for you after the break.

Wireless Charging
The Lumia 920 will allow users to eschew the use of cords to charge the device thanks to Qi charging technology. Wireless charging accessories will be released that allow you to charge simply by placing the Lumia 920 on their surfaces.

PureView Camera Optics
The Lumia 920 sports Nokia's PureView technology in its 8-megapixel camera. The improves lens can capture more light than other typical smartphone cameras that shines in low-light situations and has great optical image stabilization.

Windows Phone 8
The Lumia 920 will ship with Windows Phone 8. That operating system, which is scheduled to hit store shelves later this year, comes with an improved start screen, near-field communication support, and a tile-based design that should make for an intuitive user experience.

4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ Display
The Lumia 920 will ship with a 4.5-inch screen that Nokia says is the brightest LCD it has ever shipped in any phone. It's a "better than HD" 1280 x 768 display, and features Super Sensitive Touch, which means you can ever use it with gloves.

2,000mAh battery
Nokia is packing the Lumia 920 with a long-lasting battery to power everything. 2,000mAh will mean that, even when using 4G LTE, you'll get a full days worth of power without having to find somewhere to plug in.

What do you think? Does the Lumia 920 offer enough for you to give it a serious look?
