Brad Pitt Films Cameo for ‘21 Jump Street’ Sequel

Jonah Hill and Brad PittHow could the sequel to 21 Jump Street top its predecessor's Johnny Depp cameo? Simple: cast Brad Pitt!

The 12 Years a Slave producer and star is joining forces (for a little screen time, anyway) with his Moneyball co-star Jonah Hill in the upcoming sequel to the 2012 film adaptation of the 80's television series. Though Pitt is known for dramas and thrillers, funnyman Hill was able to coax the 50-year-old star into appearing in 22 Jump Street.

Pitt's cameo sees him as a lowly librarian when Hill and co-star Channing Tatum come across him as he puts on a poor acting performance. "The scene is very funny and the guys had a great time doing it. Brad was a great sport and the producers were thrilled that he took part," an insider said. While the proverbial beans seem to have been spilled with Pitt's cameo (unlike Depp's, which was suspected but never confirmed prior to release of the first film), the Oscar-nominated actor is sure to still deliver the laughs.

22 Jump Street hits theaters on June 13, 2014.

Will Ferrell Stole a Bus During ‘Anchorman 2’ Filming

Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell on the set of 'Anchorman 2'Will Ferrell stole a bus while filming Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

The 46-year-old actor almost ended up behind bars after he hijacked the single-deck vehicle with his co-stars and whizzed around Atlanta, Georgia, the stunt attracted the attention of police who followed them around the city. "On a lunch break, we stole a city bus, and we were just driving it through the streets of Atlanta and the cops were chasing us. It was art imitating life. We were gone for four hours, and then we hopped out of the bus and said, 'Hey, it's us,' and everyone had a big laugh," he recalled.

Meanwhile, the funnyman admits he was surprised by Kanye West, who has a cameo appearance in the sequel, and his passion for comedy, and admired his creativity and dedication to his career: "That was really fascinating because he came on the set and he was the exact antithesis of what you thought he'd be. He was such a fan of comedy, he was almost reverential and quiet around us. He stayed for two days. He wanted to hang around the whole time, but he's probably the most prolific, creative person I've ever been around, because while he was off set he was on the phone talking about a photo shoot, he was writing down lyrics. His mind is constantly working."

Will Ferrell Talks Kanye West ‘Anchorman 2’ Cameo

Will Ferrell and Kanye West on the set of 'Anchorman 2'Will Ferrell tried to keep Kanye West happy on the set of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

The "Black Skinhead" makes a cameo appearance in the much-anticipated comedy sequel, and Will - who plays lead character Ron Burgundy in the movie - admitted his new co-star struggled to get to grips with the filming schedule. "He was playing [his new music] through the sound department, on the speakers on set, at the park, as people were setting up for the next shot. Which was great. But then he didn't understand when it had to be turned off, when it was time to actually film. He was like, 'Hey man, what's going on?' We didn't want Kanye to get upset, but at the same time, we kind of had to film," he told Rolling Stone.

As well as giving the crew a sneak peak of his tracks, Kanye also treated them to the occasional performance, which director Adam McKay described as hilarious: "I think it was 'New Slaves' - the really strident one. Whichever one gets off on a rant. He was like, 'You guys want to listen to some new tracks?' We're like, 'Yeah, sure!' Then he started performing, and it gets to the point where he's screaming. He goes a full 100-miles-an-hour. Then he'd turn off and go, 'Anyway, thanks.' It was hilarious."

Rita Ora in 'Fast and Furious 6'

Vin Diesel says Rita Ora "kicked butt" in Fast and Furious 6. The "Radioactive" hitmaker has a small cameo appearance in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster - which was partly filmed in the singer's hometown of London - and producer-and-star Vin was convinced she was the perfect fit for the high octane movie after meeting her on a night out.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the movie's world premiere at the Empire Cinema in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday night, he explained: "I was out one night and was introduced to her. We were looking for someone to kick off the most quintessential race in the movie. We wanted somebody who represented today's London and have that presence to kick off a race of that style and she was just perfect and she was game to do it. We were lucky to get her and we were lucky that she came in and kicked butt."

The confirmation comes after Colbert had hinted at the cameo in Playboy's upcoming November issue: "Peter Jackson invited me to the set last year... Liam Neeson Confirmed for The Dark Knight Rises

Liam Neeson as Ra's al GhulLiam Neeson's rumored role in The Dark Knight Rises has been confirmed.

The 59-year-old actor will reprise his part of Ra's al Ghul for the forthcoming movie, despite his character being killed off in 2005's Batman Begins, with the news revealed in Warner Bros' production notes for his latest film Wrath of the Titans.

"Neeson next appears in Peter Berg's action flick Battleship, and he also will be seen in Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated action thriller The Dark Knight Rises," the note read.

However, Liam insists he is only going to have a "cameo" appearance in the motion picture. When asked if he is appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, he told CNN, "I think so. I have no idea what the story is about. Nothing. Nothing. Seriously, I'm not sure if I'm still in it. It's a cameo - let's put it that way - if it still survives."

Johnny Depp Crucial to 21 Jump Street

Johnny Depp in 21 Jump StreetJohnny Depp's 21 Jump Street cameo was "crucial" to the movie.

Star and executive producer Jonah Hill says he always wanted Johnny to make an appearance in the big screen adaptation of the TV show which made him famous and believes the Hollywood hunk found it "cathartic" as he left the show after the fourth season:

"It's like stepping into the Star Wars world, and trying to avoid Darth Vadar. It was pretty crucial to me that Johnny came on board for a cameo. Once he agreed, it was a case of finding a funny way to do it. I reckon most people - if not all - will be hard-pressed to spot him until he steps forward. Johnny's a great sport, and always up for a laugh, so, he was pretty much game for anything. In the end, he felt it was cathartic too, a chance to say sorry, in a way, to his co-stars for bailing on them."

Jonah always wanted to see a big screen adaptation of the show and is thrilled he is the one who has made it happen: "In America, the show was a very big deal. And it was such a neat idea for a comedy, I always had it in the back of my mind that someone should try and bring it to the big screen one day. I never thought it would be me. Well, I say that, but I was always secretly hoping it would be me, of course."
