Verizon One Phone Impressions
Verizon enticed us to check out the unveiling of their new phone - Verizon One. Essentially, the 5.8 GHz phone looks okay and is packed with plenty of features to make it worth the $149.99 price tag. The Verizon One is supposed to be a conglomerate of all of your communication needs in one device. For the price, the phone also has an integrated 802.11g 4-port router along with a beautiful touch screen where you can manage contacts, address books, and schedules for each family individual. Since it already has an Internet connection, you can also use Verizon SuperPages to find restaurants, theaters, locksmiths, etc. It does a pretty good job in mapping results out for you, too. While impressive, this product does have a massive downside - it’s only available to Verizon DSL customers. Good going Verizon, way to isolate potential consumers.

The phone costs $150 and has all those features but it doesn’t have video calling? Who forgot about that feature when they were designing this phone? It’s already connected to the Internet.
I think they made a big mistake on that one and lost a bigger market.
What good is a locksmith gonna do you when you’re locked out of your house?

<<The phone costs $150 and has all those features but it doesn’t have video calling?>>
At the very least, it ought to have picture Caller-ID. Perhaps the Verizon TWO Phone will get it right.

The best thing about this phone is that it is never out of date. It already has picture caller id, however customized photos for contacts (and hence caller id) will be relased in early december and all phones will be automatically updated.

You should check out the videophone that does more than the Verizon One and isn’t as limited in features. It’s called the Iris 3000, the Company ACN and the video phone were featured on the fourth episode of Celebrity Apprentice. You can check it out on my web page @ jaguilar.acnrep.com

Are you still trying to get rid of your Verizon One phone? Do the displays on handset and main screen work and does the model number begin with C90? If yes, i would be interested.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to your. Model # starts with C90, main screen works fine, handset lights up, but display is nearly unreadable. Unit has been unplugged for a year or better, cannot test because I switched ISP.
Not sure if you’re still interested due to the handset, but let me know.
