PBS was busy today with announcements regarding bringing their substantial library of video content to a wider online audience. Announced were initiatives with the Open Media Network and Google Video.

The PBS Google Video offerings, according to PBS, will make available for purchase and download select episodes of PBS programs, including Antiques Roadshow, NOVA, NOW, Scientific American Frontiers, Arthur, Cyberchase and Fetch! The Open Media Network will also make available, for a fee, select episodes of PBS programs similar to what will be found through Google Video.
