Apple has finally released a series of 802.11ac routers with the release of the AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule 2013 models. In this episode we open up the AirPort Time Capsule 2TB model and give you a look at the specs while detailing the changes from the previous generations of Apple Time Capsule routers and devices. We will be putting the new super-fast 802.11ac AirPort Time Capsule to the test, and will have a review up shortly as well. For now, though, check out the unboxing video, and wonder along with us why Apple continues to stubbornly ship its routers with three Ethernet ports instead of the standard four.

Moto X phone will always be listening for voice commands

Looks like Google's goals for the Majel project is coming to full fruition with a Star Trek-like Always Listening mode on the upcoming Moto X smartphone. In a leaked video from Canadian wireless carrier, Rogers, we see that the passive voice command feature added allows Google Now use without the user having to press a button in order to prompt a request--all you have to do is say "Ok Google Now," to get the phone to listen up and do your bidding. Yep, just like Google Glass. In the video, the Moto X has an additional buttonless feature that allows a user to open the phone's camera with two flicks of the wrist. Additionally, we see that you can tap anywhere on the screen to snap a photo instead of just a specific UI button. The Moto X is expected to go on sale this summer. Unboxing Live 117: Pebble Smart Watch

We give you a look at the Pebble smart watch - it shows you your notifications from your smartphone, right on your wrist right on its e-ink display, and is compatible with both iOS and Android. Here are some specs:

• Load apps using Bluetooth
• 144 x 168 pixel display black and white e-paper
• Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR and 4.0 (Low Energy)
• 4 buttons
• Vibrating motor
• 3 axis accelerometer with gesture detection

You can also control apps and music as well, again, all over Bluetooth. I waited a long time for this to arrive, mostly because I had to wait for the orange version to get manufactured and show up. If you wanna get your hands on one, you can get the Pebble watch from Best Buy.

In move to expand spectrum, AT&T acquires Leap Wireless

AT&T just announced that it had come to an agreement with Leap Wireless, operator of the Cricket pre-paid mobile brand, to acquire the company for $15 per share in a cash deal. The purchase includes all Leap Wireless assets, which brings all 5 million Leap subscribers into the fold at AT&T. Aside from giving AT&T more spectrum and more customers, it also increases its retail store footprint. Full release after the break.

Microsoft slashes price of Surface RT by $150, starting this Sunday

If you are looking to pick up the Surface RT this weekend, you'll want to make sure you wait until Sunday, when the price is slashed by $150. That's right, Microsoft's Surface RT is set to get its first widespread price cut, bringing the price of the entry-level 32GB Surface RT to $349 (down from $499,) and the 64GB model to $449 (down from $599.) Add $100 to the new prices if you want a Touch Cover thrown in.

Nintendo delays Wii U speed update until fall

You know that Wii U system update that is supposed to speed up the console by a pretty big margin this summer? Well, in yet another misstep for Nintendo's latest home console, that update will not be arriving until the fall. Specifically, Wii U owners will be waiting until sometime "between the end of September and the beginning of October." There will still be a system update, but it will be a much less significant patch that simply addresses small stability issues and the standby download feature. The speed update was first announced in January, but we guess it isn't much of a surprise that Wii U owners are stuck waiting. Again.

BlackBerry A10 with 5-inch display leaked

Looks like Blackberry is hard at work on its next flagship smartphone, the BlackBerry A10 (codename Aristo.) An image of the device, leaked to BGR, portrays the A10 as a 5-inch upgrade from the current Z10, featuring sleeker curves and running upgraded software, BlackBerry 7.2. We're looking at a 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, and sports an unspecified dual-core processor. While that's just about the extent of what we know about the device, we're sure that we'll be hearing more about it in short order.

Nokia Lumia 1020 launches on July 26th on AT&T for $299

Nokia, Microsoft, and AT&T have finally officially lifted the veil off of the Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone. The standout feature of this smartphone is its 41 megapixel PureView camera, which is being called "the largest back side illuminated sensor available on a smartphone." Of course, a fantastic camera a great smartphone does not make, and the Lumia 1020 does sports a few other impressive touches. The display is a 4.5-inch 1280 x 768 AMOLED PureMotion HD+ panel covered by Gorilla Glass 3, and it sports "super sensitive touch" which allows you to use the phone even while wearing gloves.

The Lumia 1020 includes a wrist strap that you can optionally attach to it, and Nokia will also be selling a Camera Grip that makes the device easier to use as a camera. You can get one exclusively from AT&T on July 26th for $299 with two-year contract. If you wanna be sure you'll have one on day one, be sure to get your pre-order in on July 16th. OS X 10.9 Mavericks Developer Preview 3 now available

Earlier today Apple released iOS 7 beta 3, and a few hours later, we now have OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 3 as well. Developers who are already running Mavericks can get the 1.08GB update through the Mac App Store, while those who are looking to install it for the first time will need to log in to the Apple Developer Portal. As for the rest of the world, OS X Mavericks is set to launch this fall, bringing features like iBooks, Maps, Finder Tags, enhanced multi-monitor support, tabbed Finder, and more to Apple's desktop operating system.
