Lady Gaga Defends Kristen Stewart

The 22-year-old actress has publicly apologized to her boyfriend of four years Robert Pattinson after she was caught in a steamy make-out session with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, and Lady Gaga has weighed in, telling people to leave them alone.
"Geez this kirstew rob stuff is brutal. Makes me sad the way press acts. Hope they're ok (sic)," she wrote on Twitter.
Sources close to the actress insist she wasn't having an affair with Rupert and it was a fleeting mistake. "Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment," an insider said.

Russell Brand to Be Charged Over Phone Throwing

The British actor hurled the paparazzo's cell phone at a glass window in New Orleans in March, and the city's Parish District Attorney's office has decided to move forward with the case and charge him for misdemeanor criminal damage today.
Russell could face up to six month in jail if he is convicted of the offense. He has already hired a lawyer to deal with the case.
Speaking at the time of the incident earlier this year, Russell joked he did what he did because he had been upset at the misuse of the iPhone following the death of Apple founder Steve Jobs. "Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory. (sic)" he wrote on Twitter.

iPhoto 9.3.2 released with Mountain Lion support

A bunch of Mac apps are being updated today (like Rdio and Fantastical) to support today's release of OS X Mountain Lion, now available on the Mac App Store. iPhoto joins the list with release 9.3.2, which includes support for Mountain Lion and adds sharing options for Messages and Twitter alongside other performance and stability improvements. You can download the update now.
Tweetbot for Mac alpha 3 now available

Tapbots is iterating quickly on its Tweetbot for Mac alpha software. The original alpha was released just 13 days ago, and the second update (Alpha 3) is already available for download. Tweetbot for Mac alpha 3 addresses the new tweet window/hashtag popover bug that's been causing crashes, while alpha 2 addressed many more issues that were present in the initial release. Why Elton John Will Never Join Twitter

Elton John thinks he'd end up in prison if he joined Twitter.
The 65-year-old singer refuses to sign up to the social networking site as he knows he would get into trouble almost straight away: "It would end my career. I'd be in prison after about two days. I mean, no, God almighty. Me and my big mouth, no thank you. That would be the end of the career."
Even if he did decide to join Twitter, Elton - who has an 18-month-old son, Zachary, with husband David Furnish - admits he would find it difficult because he struggles with the latest technology.
"You won't see me doing a disco record or a dance record or anything like that, because I don't know how. I'm technically a Luddite. I have an iPad but I don't have a phone. I'm not great on a computer, I don't even have one. I write everything down - I come from a different era. I accept the change and I know that it is the future with the way it's going, but I don't know how to do it," he explained to The Sun.

The 21-year-old actress split from her on/off boyfriend Chord Overstreet in May for a second time and she has now embarked on a romance with the 25-year-old actor, who she first met when she started shooting independent comedy Adult World in the spring.
"Emma and Evan have been dating for a few months," a source said.
Emma took Evan to her stylist Emily Current's wedding in Santa Barbara, California, last Saturday, and the couple were seen "holding hands and locking arms" at the nuptials. Other guests included Minka Kelly, 32, Mandy Moore, 28, and Ashley Tisdale, 27.
The blonde starlet - the daughter of actor Eric Roberts, whose sister is Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts - revealed she had an amazing time at the wedding on her twitter page. "Fun at @emilyandmeritt Emily's GORGEOUS wedding. Had the most lovely time (sic)" she wrote on Twitter.

Mariah Carey has been recording with Rodney Jerkins.
The "Touch My Body: singer is recording her first material for three years and posted a picture of herself posing with the producer. "In the studio with RJ-yeaah, having a nice time!" she wrote on her Twitter. Beneath the photo she added, "Tonight was a stone winner with the massively talented @RodneyJerkins."

Blink-182 to Tour Without Travis Barker

The rocker confirmed he won't be able to join the band in Australia in February 2013 due to his fear of flying, which stems from his narrow survival of a plane crash in 2008 which left four people dead.
"'Had a blast playing The Eden Project, St. Austell, UK! Thank you (sic)" he wrote on Twitter.
A fan replied, "Hey, there's this place called Australia that would love to see you guys too... (sic)"
Referring to his bandmates, the rocker responded, "Mark and Tom will be there in Feb of next year but with a fill in drummer cause I don't fly. Sorry brotha (sic)."
Travis recently said he is doing his best to overcome his fear for the sake of his children and band mates Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge.
Kristin Chenoweth Released From Hospital

The 43-year-old actress - who plays a political reporter in the fourth season of the CBS drama - is now recovering at home after being treated at Bellevue Hospital after being hit by a piece of lighting equipment that the wind had blown out of place while shooting a scene. Kristin received treatment at the scene yesterday before being rushed to hospital after she was struck by the lighting silk on Kent Avenue in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, and she was thought to have hit her head on the ground when she fell.
"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes," her representative said in a statement.
Following the incident, Will and Grace actor Sean Hayes - who starred opposite the blonde beauty in Broadway production Promises, Promises in 2010 - took to his Twitter account to wish the 43-year-old star a speedy recovery: "Sending out my love and wishes for a speedy recovery to my former leading lady, @KChenoweth."

All users running Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion can now download the Tweetbot for Mac alpha, totally for free during the alpha and beta stages. If you've used the iPad version of the app, you should feel right at home on the desktop version. It is fast and slick, and is already our favorite Twitter client for the Mac after just a couple of hours of use.
