Courtney Love Slams Daughter on Facebook

Although Courtney Love initially appeared to be tight-lipped when the news broke that she lost custody of her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, the troubled musician has now broken her silence.
No stranger to blasting ludicrous remarks on Facebook, Love used the social networking site to spew hateful thoughts about her 17 year-old daughter, whose father was the late Kurt Cobain.
“I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position… she was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself… My daughter is not always honest. The fact is fbc [Frances Bean Cobain] is deluded. She thinks she has all this money. The point is I have all the money she has. Frances is clearly deluded that she can buy her grandmother a small house in la [Los Angeles]. I’d love to see how that works. They’ll incubate her [sic] til shes 18 and then have her sign all the [sic] indnemofications.”
This is not the first time Love has lost custody of Frances Bean; Love’s lawyers assure that she did not have a drug relapse and the matter was simply Frances Bean’s decision to live with her grandparents over her mother.
In the end, however, Love ends her internet tirade with words that somewhat resemble that of a woman showing motherly care (despite what she had said previously).

Chris Brown Embarrassed Over Attack

Chris Brown is “embarrassed” about his assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The “Run It” singer has spoken out about his humiliation at losing his temper with the 21-year-old beauty in an attack which left her covered in bruises and bite marks and has revealed he still can’t look at the photographs of her injuries.
“It’s unbearable to view. It’s something that I have to live with every time they show it. I’m embarrassed that I couldn’t control my anger at that time. It’s a reminder that I have to be in control of my own actions and not anyone else’s. My actions today and in the past shape my future.”
Chris, who has to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna for the next five years, has now vowed to “learn from” his behavior.
“Domestic violence is totally wrong whatever the circumstances, no exceptions. I’m only 20. This is a bad mistake I made, but one that I’m not denying nor running away from. I don’t believe I should let it shatter my life. I’m owning up to the wrongs I’ve done and am working on myself. I’m trying to find the positive amid the negative. I’m urging people to learn from what I did and not take the same route. If I do that - act as an example - then I feel I have no reason to go through the rest of my life with my head hanging down.”

Pete Doherty Arrested in Germany

After causing a ruckus over a Nazi row, Pete Doherty is not having the best of luck in Germany: the musician has been arrested in the country for smashing the back window of a car.
The Babyshambles frontman was taken into custody for throwing a pint glass at a car - believed to be parked at the time - outside of the bar Trinkteufel (Drink Devil) in Berlin shortly before 7am on Saturday morning). According to German newspaper Bild, Pete had been thrown out of another bar a short while earlier, and upon arriving at Trinkteufel had been asking staff where he could buy some drugs.
A bartender said, “I almost threw them out too. He was drinking shots and constantly asking where to get cocaine.”
Pete was taken to a police station not far from Checkpoint Charlie - the best known crossing point between East and West Germany when the country was separated after World War II - where he spent the next three hours. He was booked for property damage and released.

Much like Woody Allen’s legal battle with American Apparel over the usage of an Annie Hall image, everyone’s favorite reality star heiress Paris Hilton is now finding herself in a similar battle after a New Zealand billboard firm slapped her face on one of their spaces.
On top of using her image without acquiring approval, the Media5 ad has “Vacant” written in large letters across the photo of her partying.
“Paris has a proven ability to laugh at herself. We assume that the agency has taken care of the rights to the image of Paris, but we will ask the question. We’re not trying to offend anyone,” spokesperson for Media 5, Adam McGregor, said.

TLC Sues Jon Gosselin

The divorce circus is going to have to add another ring to the drama soon - TLC just jumped into the fray. As if Jon and Kate Gosselin didn’t have enough troubles trying to sever the bonds between them and fending off the press, now Jon’s got to worry about a new lawsuit.
The network announced last month that it would be pulling Jon and Kate Plus 8 from its roster of shows, now featuring the Gosselins minus Jon in a new series dubbed Kate Plus 8. Upon hearing this, Jon Gosselin refused to give TLC admittance to taping sessions, called his lawyer and created quite the media ruckus.
Because of Gosselin’s actions, Kate Plus 8 is “suspended indefinitely.” Previously, the show was supposed to premiere on November 2. TLC’s lawsuit claims the network has lost $30,000 plus due to Jon’s behavior, contractual violations they obviously won’t take lying down.

He posted a sign, sent some letters and somehow managed to put a complete stop to one of cable’s favorite reality shows. He’s Jon Gosselin, and he’s going to remain in the center of a media maelstrom no matter how many feathers he’s got to ruffle.

Michael Jackson’s death speculation

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2.26pm yesterday, it has been confirmed.
The 50-year-old musical legend - who is survived by three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - suffered a suspected cardiac arrest at his home and was rushed to Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Michael’s manager Frank DiLeo said: “It’s a very sad day for all of us. It’s such a terrible shame. He was my friend. The kids are very upset, but they are fine.”
Michael’s mother Katherine is currently looking after the star’s three children.
An emergency 911 call was made from Michael Jackson’s home at 12.30pm, and Michael had no pulse when medics arrived on the scene. He was in a coma when he arrived at hospital. A hospital statement said: “His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate Jackson, as did paramedics who transferred him. A team of doctors including emergency physicians and cardiologists attempted to resuscitate for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful.”

Nicole Farhi feared death during attack

Nicole Farhi thought she was going to die when she was mugged outside her home. The French fashion designer - who was choked until she was unconscious during the attack in London in April last year - made the admission yesterday as she gave evidence in the trial of one of the men accused of robbing her.
She said at London’s Wood Green Crown Court: “I walked quickly to my front door. Then I heard some footsteps. The footsteps were very fast and then one hand came onto my eyes and the other onto my throat. He squeezed and I fainted. My last thought was, how stupid to die in front of my house.”
The 62-year-old designer claims she woke up to find the men were taking her £8,000 wedding ring and trying to remove her Rolex watch. The watch had been Nicole’s father’s. When she heard the two men speaking her native French she begged to be allowed to keep the timepiece. She said: “I asked for my watch back because it had sentimental value. I was frightened, obviously. I said to them, ‘Don’t cut me with this knife,’ in French. I said, ‘Don’t cut me, don’t cut me.’ I started speaking louder and louder and they said, ‘Let’s go’, because I was speaking too loud.”
Hearing her speaking, Nicole’s husband Sir David Hare came to the door of their home. He followed the men and was able to note down the registration of the vehicle they used to escape. It is alleged brothers Matthew and Daniel Mykoo performed robberies together in wealthy areas of London between March and June last year. It is claimed Daniel would choke the pair’s victims from behind until they passed out while Matthew held a knife. Matthew would then steal jewellery and other valuables. Matthew, 27, has admitted two counts of robbery but pleaded not guilty to 16. Daniel has admitted 16 counts. The trial of Matthew continues.
Dolce and Gabbana to be fined for tax evasion?

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana could be facing a fine of $1.2 million. The designers’ finances have come under investigation following the sale of the Dolce and Gabbana and D and G brands to their Luxemburg-based company Gado Sri. Italy’s excise and revenue police have now confirmed their recommendation is for the duo to be charged with tax evasion and abuse of rights and suggested the massive fine.
Investigators allege Gado is a legal entity set up to avoid higher tax rates in Italy, but the duo insist they have paid all taxes relating to the sale and that figures mentioned by the police are “completely abstract”. The designers said: “We will tell the 3,800 employees of the companies, which compose the group, that we have paid all that was due and that we will strenuously defend ourselves to avoid being unjustly forced to pay for something that never existed in the first place. This higher taxable sum is a virtual figure we have never received, the result of a theoretical accounting exercise.”
Terri Seymour attacker Janice Thibodeaux pleads not guilty

Looks like the woman accused of attacking Terri Seymour has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her. Janice Thibodeaux was charged with misdemeanour battery and assault yesterday morning following her altercation with Seymour, the ex-girlfriend of Simon Cowell, and appeared in court to answer the claims.
A Los Angeles judge set her bail at $20,000. She is due to appear in court again on June 4. If convicted of misdemeanour battery, Thibodeaux faces a maximum six months in county jail and a fine of $2,000. The misdemeanour assault charge carries a maximum one year prison term and $10,000 fine. Thibodeaux is accused of assaulting Seymour outside Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, the site of where Cowell’s TV show American Idol was being filmed on Tuesday.
It has been claimed the music mogul has ordered his personal security team to protect Seymour until she feels safe again. Police claim Thibodeaux asked Seymour if she was still dating Cowell - who she split from last November after a six-year relationship - and then tried to choke her. However, Thibodeaux has revealed she was unhappy with Cowell’s behaviour towards his fellow ‘American Idol’ judge. She told a US website: “I wasn’t cool with Simon Cowell choking Paula Abdul on the show last week and with her crying-out ‘help’ as he did so. Nobody said anything about that so I wanted to confront him about it because that is not appropriate behavior, is it?”
