The iPhone Shuffle is a Must Have

With so many new accessories for the iPhone we can barely keep up these days, but this one about matches Mad TV’s iRack in usefulness. The Shuffle is simply one little button. Push it and it literally rearranges all your contacts, then calls one at random. Hold it down for 3 seconds and it will automatically dial another number for a three-way teleconference. There’s more, but we don’t want to spoil the other neat tricks that the Shuffle can perform with little or no effort.

Become a South Park Kid on Facebook

We were kicking around Facebook last weekend and noticed all kinds of new applications. There are over 2,500 of them now, including fish tanks, gardens, games, video uploading, and becoming a zombie or vampire and infecting others. Our fave, however, has to be making yourself a South Park Character. We have Simpsonized, IMVU’d, and M&M’d, so we figured why not? Tell us what you think of our Goth representative, then head over to Facebook to come up with your own. If you are truly gifted, perhaps you can create your own cartoon character application and share it with us.

Quicktime Goes Full Screen for Free

We sometimes use Quicktime on sites when we don’t have a choice, but we really prefer our Microsoft Media Player for its, let’s face it, $0.00 price tag. Now Apple has decided that its 7.2 player will now be able to do one of the things its competitor does, offer full screen viewing. The new version also updates to an H.264 codec and promises a few bug fixes. You can choose between a 19.3MB download for Windows or 51.5MB for Macs.
We appreciate the crumbs but we are still not certain we are ready to pay $30.00 for their Quicktime Pro because we can still head on down to our nearest electonics store and pick up some inexpensive editing software that can do everything Quicktime can, and more, for about the same price.
