Nokia Speakerphone

Nokia has a new speakerphone that works in and out of the car. The HF-300 features up to 20 hours of talk time, and will work with any number of Nokia mobile gadgets that support Bluetooth 1.1 and handsfree profile 1.0 and higher. Clip it to your visor or set it on its rubber feet and talk up to 20 hours. The lightweight 80g speakerphone runs on batteries, shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity, has illuminated keys, and features an LED to let you know when you are running out of juice. Expect to see the HF-300 in Q3 for ~EUR90 (~$123.00.) Take that, you idiots who continue to use your cell phones while driving.

After Gear Live’s coverage of all the news about the release of the iPhone, we watched excited shoppers stand in line overnight and run into the Apple store on Release Day as if they had just won a marathon. We just couldn’t believe all the sickos that have decided to sell their obviously non-cherished iPhones on eBay this past weekend. This page alone featured over 60, and over 260 items were listed in all with the average price being between $550.00 and $750.00. Greedy, greedy, greedy. What else can we say?

Meter ReadSuppose you are in the midst of a romantic meal and somewhere between the Merlot and the Camembert, you forget about the parking meter. Not to worry, in certain areas of Canada a Photo Violation Meter is being tested that will remind you to toss in another coin via your cell phone. Developed by Photo Violation Technologies Corporation, the gadget will also allow you to pay the coinage so that you don’t have to leave in the midst of the Beef Wellington. If you have turned your phone off, the meter will also let you pay the fine, assuming you have any money left after paying for the Crème Broulette and tip.

Alright kids, we know it hurts, but Walt Mossberg, David Pogue, Steven Levy, and Edward Baig have all had their units for a couple of weeks now, and the embargoes were lifted earlier today. So what does all that mean? We have the first four iPhone reviews available for public consumption, and they all pretty much leave us with the same feeling - the iPhone is definitely a game changer, and is an amazing experience. However, the fact that it is on EDGE instead of 3G HSDPA sucks, and the software keyboard takes a few days to get used to. Of course, that is a very, very short summary. All in all though, Apple looks to have another winner on it’s hands. You can check out the reviews at the following links:
