LucasFilm has promised that the conversion process will not be rushed, and that “incredible attention to detail” will be applied to all six films. Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi have all been previously revamped and re-released in theaters.

Phantom Menace is set to hit theaters in 2012.
