[quote author=“EdwinGearLive”][quote author=“plugg3d in”][quote author=“EdwinGearLive”][quote author=“plugg3d in”]ok, well i dont really care about heat, nor do i about weight.

Money, well how much more are we talkin about? like $100?

I need something that will last (without needing to upgrade much), and be fast.

1. you will care if its hot, cuase you can fry up your processor
2. if you’re still looking for a serious auido notebook: get a desktop 😛

any suggestions on a desktop? haha

I don’t really wanna build because I would be able to put it together.

If you can just say a model no. so i can search on eBay that’d be grrrreat!

i would assume that you meant that you cant put it together….
go to http://www.cybertronpc.com
get their number
and tell them that you want a tower like Edwin from Savvy Productions! the tower alone will set you back about 800 after shipping or something like that.

Do they ship to canada?
and

detail on the comp you have?  :?

  * 8x DVD?RW Dual Format Black
  * Mitsumi 1.44 MB Floppy Drive Black
  * ATI Radeon 9200SE 128MB DDR W/Tv
  * Ac’97 Codec 3D Onboard Sound
  * 56 K V.90 Voice Fax Modem
  * 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) NIC
  * X-Blade Multi-Function Lcd Panel

  * 450 Watt Power Supply
  * Black Windows Keyboard
  * 3 Button Wheel Mouse PS/2 Black

900 + 50 shipping, they really are crazy.

XD, onboard sound and a 9200se for a gamer or audio guy? 512mb RAM. EXTREME GAMING!1!!1

Find a real company. They are overpriced, we could build that for $500 or $600…and with better parts.

Go Kevin Costner! Savvy Productions. Tell them to give you my specs, you will like… you will pay about 7-800 or so.

Just modify it however else you may need!

Ok, so I can spend about $850 US (not including monitor)

I can’t find any good places to buy parts that ship to Canada, so I’m thinking of buying a customized pre-built.

I was thinking from iBuyPower.com but I dunno.

I dunno exactly what to look for when I’m building, there are no local kids :i know: that would build one, and there aren’t any good computer parts sites that ship internationally without a billion dollars in shipping charges

anybody have some dell coupons?

I might consider dell, downgrade to the 3.0 ghz with 2 mb cache, get put together some 37gig 10k rpm raptors and have RAID

Dell deals usually come with monitor, thats why I’m lookin at them
