Step aside, Camilla Belle—there’s a new princess in town.
With a campaign titled “Born to Rule,” it’s no wonder that Vera Wang chose the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet to star in the ads, promoting the designer’s Princess fragrance.
Sitting atop some lush-looking pillows with an exuberant butterfly crown, Zoe fits the part perfectly. If you want to smell like a princess, you can purchase the perfume at an any department store nationwide.

Sneak Peek: Claudia Schiffer on Set of Chanel Shoot
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Fashion Designers, Models, News,
Shooting on location in Buenos Aires, Karl Lagerfeld and Claudia Schiffer were snapped up by photogs as they shot the Chanel Spring/Summer ‘10 ad campaign.
Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi, also set to appear in the photo shoot, were nowhere in sight (sometimes it can’t quite be helped when Karl Lagerfeld and Claudia Schiffer are walking about).
Check out the rest of the pictures after the jump!

Vanessa Paradis Lends Her Lips to Chanel
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Models, News, Women,
French songstress and starlet Vanessa Paradis is the new face of Chanel lipstick.
The 36-year-old actress-and-model will star in a global campaign for the luxury make-up range’s new collection Rouge Coco de Chanel, which will be available to buy from 2010.
Chanel said that Vanessa was chosen due to her “modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion.” No further information on the advertising campaign or who will shoot it has been announced.
It is not the first time Vanessa, the longtime love of Johnny Depp, has worked with Chanel: in 1992, she starred in adverts for the luxury fashion house’s Coco perfume. In the campaign, she was seen dressed as a bird swinging from a cage. In 2003, she became creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and promoted Chanel’s Cambon handbags. Two years later she starred in campaigns for The New Mademoiselle handbag.
Demi Moore Fronts Fragrance Campaign
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News, Sales,
Perfume campaigns are still all the rage (just ask Hayden Christensen, Enrique Iglesias, and Justin Timberlake!), and Demi Moore is hopping right onto that trend, fronting the ad campaign for Helena Rubinstein’s latest fragrance.
While she doesn’t necessary fit the title of the alluring perfume, “All You’ve Ever Wanted” (I mean, ever since she got hitched, does anyone care?), Moore fits perfectly in the photo. Well, if you don’t count that awkward arm holding the bottle. And who’s that weird guy by her neck? Where’s Ashton!

Rimmel Recruits Coco Rocha and Georgia Jagger

Step aside, Grandma
Kate Moss—rock daughter Georgia Jagger and it girl Coco Rocha are signing their faces away to represent cosmetic giant Rimmel London.
Set to front the Spring/Summer ‘10 campaign, the pair sound like a bit of an odd coupling; however, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty Stephen Mormoris doesn’t think so:
“We needed a wider palette of faces to show the makeup results of our new products… Rimmel embodies the London look, which is very resonant with young people all over the world who look to London as a centre of multiculturalism and freedom of expression.”
It’s obvious why Rocha was brought on board; Jagger was picked for being “edgy, experimental and provocative.” I’m sure it has nothing to do with her parentage…
Mormoris also revealed that the company plans to bring three more models to the campaign by January—guaranteeing that each will be of different ethnic background. We’ll be keeping you to your word, Mormoris.

Mango Unveils Scarlett Johansson Ads
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News, Sales, Women,
Never one to seem shy about her sex symbol status, Scarlett Johansson flaunts her petite, curvy self in her latest Mango ad campaign for Fall/Winter ‘09.
Shot in Los Angeles by famed fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, Johansson poses against a myriad of grungy back drops, including a graffiti-stricken wall and trashy red leather couch (seen after the jump). There’s actually one shot in particular that looks strikingly similar to a Guess? jeans ad; however, the blinding yellow background in another image isn’t too pleasing, either—bright yellow fails to evoke a sense of Winter to me.
Despite my minor qualms, Scarlett looks hot.

You saw the images of Jimmy Choo’s H&M line. Now you can get a better experience and effect from the collection when you watch the ad campaign, which features Sasha Pivovarova and Edita Vilkeviciute.
Hopefully you’re doing a better job than I am at saving up for the line, which hits stores November 14th in 200 stores across the country. One must also note that, unlike the other lines released on Thursdays, this one comes out on a Saturday (and it’s Jimmy Choo!)... Just sayin’.

Naomi, Claudia, and Eva Smell and Look Good
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Fashion Designers, Health & Beauty, Models, News,
Approaching the age of 40 doesn’t stop supermodels Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, and Claudia Schiffer from looking fabulous.
The trio showed up to Milan Fashion Week to promote the Dolce & Gabbana Perfumes Collection, for which they had previously appeared in the D&G Anthology ad campaign.
Turns out that the folks at Dolce & Gabbana went for an androgynous theme—all five scents are not gender specific. In fact, each of them are named after Tarot cards and represented by a different model.
“We chose Claudia, Naomi, and Eva for the iconic value they have in the minds of everybody,” Domenico Dolce said.
“They are icons, not just for young women but older women too. Sometimes they are better known than actresses. People need to create icons, to see people they recognize.” Stefano Gabbana added. I couldn’t agree with them more!

First Look: Enrique Iglesias for Azzaro Pour Homme
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, News, Men,
Treading right behind Hayden Christensen for Lacoste and Justin Timberlake for Givenchy, Enrique Iglesias lends his famous face to the men’s fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme.
Steven Klein shot the campaign; if the rest of it is anything like this image, I would say that they were clearly going for a modern-day Don Juan look. The fragrance is expected to sell in selected Macy’s stores.
To me, this is nothing new for Enrique—doesn’t he look like this in all of his videos?

Kate Moss Saved Money on Make-Up
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, Models, News, Rumors, Women,
Apparently make-up artists need to save money, too—Kate Moss wore only moisturizer for a Calvin Klein photo shoot to save money.
Renowned makeup artist Kay Montano has revealed that she only used a lightweight base on the supermodel when preparing her skin for a perfume campaign in the late ‘90s because she had been urged to be frugal by bosses.
“Yes, the recession came and after that fashion and beauty became rather more pared down. One of my first jobs after moving to New York was to make up Kate Moss for the Calvin Klein Obsession fragrance campaign, and I just used moisturizer. She looked absolutely perfect.”
Kay, who has worked on London Fashion Week since it began 25 years ago, made a name for herself as the woman behind the dramatic make-up of the ‘80s. The British beauty expert said that her trademark smokey eyes were inspired by many of the decade’s biggest stars.
“My icons were women like Debbie Harry, make-up artist Barbara Daly—who did all of the Stanley Kubrik films—Jerry Hall and a makeup artist called Yvonne Gold. Yvonne had big, blonde dreadlocks and worked with Vivienne Westwood and her partner Malcolm McLaren who at the time had a new-wave band Bow Wow Wow. A signature technique of hers was to use gold paint over the Cupid’s bow, which makeup artist Pat McGrath uses a lot now.”
