Abercrombie & Fitch models with CEO Mike Jeffries inset

If you want a thing done well, do it yourself. Especially when your CEO is Mike Jeffries.

Because the Abercrombie & Fitch CEO's unapologetic apology over his controversial, exclusionary comments was received poorly (not surprisingly) and exacerbated the current online anti-Abercrombie campaigns, the folks at corporate decided to take matters into their own hands. Prompted by 18-year-old Benjamin O'Keefe's - an eating disorder survivor who began the Change.org petition urging the clothing company to expand its women's sizing - online action, executives at Abercrombie & Fitch met with the teenager and members of the National Eating Disorder Association in order to discuss changes in the company.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is being sued for $5 million. The Scary Movie 5 star is being counter-sued by clothing manufacturer D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, who claim she is the reason a business deal for her 6126 clothing line fell apart, according to TMZ.

Lindsay had originally started legal action against the company, claiming they didn't honor a licensing fee agreement and seeking $1.1 million in damages. However, D.N.A.M. claim they attempted to sell the Lindsay's 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers in 2010, but found it hard, as Lindsay's personal life and legal problems had spiralled out of control.

The lawsuit points out Lindsay was in rehab at the time, claiming she had a "drug-addled image," which affected their own reputation, and her legal problems were playing out "like a Greek tragedy." D.N.A.M. claims it invested millions in the 6126 brand only to find it unprofitable. They are suing for breach of contract and fraud, asking for at least $5 million in damages.

Lindsay's public image is still in trouble as she is currently undergoing three months of court-ordered rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic in California, where she is reportedly finding conditions tough.

Sofia Coppola

“I think it’s not the ideal way they want to be portrayed. Louis Vuitton is this brand based on heritage and great craftsmanship, and that wasn’t the side that we were celebrating.”

Nicki MinajWhile the Billboard Music Awards are no Met Gala, one would hope that the celebrities would at least aspire to such style for the event. Judging from the various frocks that graced Billboard's blue carpet, however, the musically-inclined celebs failed to put much effort into this awards show. Whether it was the Las Vegas heat or some overextended stylists (between the Met Gala, Cannes, and this, who can blame them?), the fashion at the Billboard Music Awards fell short with a few good looks and way too many shine-inducing materials.

The Good: American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, known for her colorful and over-the-top costumes, scaled back her look by opting for a red number which made her cleavage take center stage and yet still managed to look classy.

Country pop singer Shania Twain showed up in a silver-white Pavoni by Mikael D gown looking like a modern-day Greek goddess.

Hayden Panettiere - who currently stars in the country music television drama Nashville - opted for black like many others in attendance, but her simple, sleek floor-length dress was the best of them all.

Christy Turlington+ Considering she has both the face and body for high fashion, it's no wonder that actress Rooney Mara has signed with Dior to lend her face to their Down Town fragrance campaign. Naturally, her face is so gorgeously distracting that it's barely apparent that the photo is an ad for a perfume.

+ Model Doutzen Kroes imitates Angelina Jolie's famous 2010 Oscar dress, showing off some serious leggage at the Cannes Film Festival in Atelier Versace (albeit, looking somewhat like a superhero).

+ Despite her doctor's orders to avoid tight-fitting shoes, a very pregnant Kim Kardashian was spotted desperately trying to squeeze into her Givenchy heels.

+ Harper's Bazaar features supermodel Christy Turlington on next month's cover, which notes that she's still fabulous at 44 - as if we still didn't need reminding since she turned 40.

Gwyneth Paltrow at this year's Met GalaGwyneth Paltrow has praised the Met Ball.

Although the 40-year-old actress recently slammed the Costume Institute Gala, which took place at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art earlier this month, she wrote a gushing post about it in her lifestyle newsletter Goop.

"The Met Ball, at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art, is always the year's most elaborate display of incredible fashion and this year was no different. The theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture and when the house of Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri asked me to join them, I was thrilled to see what they would create with my right fashion hand, Elizabeth Saltzman. We got all inspired in the goop office about punk making a comeback through subtle influence and thus, we asked one of my absolute favorite websites, the most excellently curated SSENSE, to show us how we could work it into our spring/summer wardrobes (sic)," she wrote.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye WestKim Kardashian is probably one of the most scrutinized pregnant celebrities these days, with folks all over the internet checking paparazzi photos for her latest maternity look. Her Met Gala appearance last Sunday was no exception, though I'm starting to truly believe from this red carpet look that she sparks and embraces such attention.

Dressed from neck to toe in a Givenchy floral number with matching gloves, the reality star looks like she could blend right into some tacky wallpaper or a sofa (a far cry from the party's punk theme).

But the head creative behind Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci, comes to Kim's defense, crowning her “the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career.” Not sure if that's much of an achievement, considering he doesn't seem to dress many pregnant women at all!

Tisci also explained his decision to envelop the expectant mother in roses: “To me, pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers.”

Nicole RichieNicole Richie has dyed her hair gray. The 31-year-old fashion designer showed off her newly-silver tresses at the Met Ball at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art last night, sticking to the Costume Institute Gala's Punk: Chaos to Couture theme by matching her updo and white Topshop column dress with a red and gold manicure, multiple gold earrings and a dark burgundy lip.

Nicole - who has five-year-old Harlow and three-year-old Sparrow with husband Joel Madden - had earlier teased fans about her change of look, posting pictures of hair extensions lying on a bush and a bowl of dye onto her Instagram account. Alongside the pictures, she wrote, "Even the bushes have extensions! Happy Met Ball Monday!
Hair Time #MetBall (sic)"

And the Fashion Star host wasn't the only star to change their hair for the annual fashion extravaganza.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has lost an endorsement deal due to her recent legal troubles.

The Canyons actress landed a lucrative contract with Odaingerous clothing company but when Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in rehab after pleading no contest to charges for lying to police about driving during a car crash last June, the company rescinded their offer.

"In light of the recent conviction of actress Lindsay Lohan, clothing and lifestyle brand, Odaingerous is officially withdrawing its offer for an endorsement agreement of actress Lindsay Lohan as the face of the brand. We wish her the best on her recovery and future pursuits. We held off on our upcoming promotional campaign due to the uncertainly of Ms. Lohan. But have decided to move forward and will soon announce the name of the Odaingerous face and continue the world of living Odaingerously," said Creative Director and CEO of Odaingerous Odain Watson.

As part of her plea deal, Lindsay, 26, is required to check into a residential treatment facility for 90 days by May 2 and despite claims she would stay at the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York, her lawyer Mark Heller insists they haven't made a final decision yet: "Lindsay is expected to sit with me this week ... and then a final approval has to be rendered by the court."
