Michael Jackson Remembered By Stars

We gve you a look at celebrities mourning Michael Jackson on Twitter, but many have released longer statements as well. Madonna says she “can’t stop crying” about the death of Michael Jackson.
The singer has been sobbing uncontrollably since she heard the 50-year-old Jackson had passed away yesterday after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. She said: “I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.”
Singer Sir Elton John was halfway though his annual White Tie and Tiara Ball when he heard about Michael’s death. He broke the news to his guests - including Liz Hurley, Hugh Grant, Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne - before dedicating his song Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me to Michael. Nearly half of his guests left after they found out about the death.
Britney Spears was one of the first to express her grief about the pop icon’s passing. In a statement issued last night, she said: “I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I’m devastated he’s gone!”

David Carradine’s cause of death might still be unknown (Was it suicide? Foul play? An accident?), but FOX’s plans are still going on as planned.
Just days after he was found dead in a Thailand hotel room, the actor is set to appear on the small screen. A guest role on the freshman series Mental had already been scheduled prior to Carradine’s passing. In that episode, David goes into a coma after he and his wife are struck by lightning.
According to Entertainment Weekly, FOX will be sure to honor the Kung Fu star. Tuesday’s episode will end with an “In Memoriam” tribute for Carradine.

Tributes to Heath Ledger
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Warner Bros, Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Sequels, Upcoming Releases,
If you’re the type of person who immediately heads to the bathroom once a movie ends, you may want to limit your liquids during The Dark Knight. Exit quickly and you’ll miss Warner Bros.’ posthumous tribute to Heath Ledger.
The film’s closing credits will acknowledge two Batman contributors who have died since the project began. In addition to Ledger, the crew said goodbye last year to a special-effects worker killed after a car crash during a stunt test. The simple farewell will read:
“In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe.”
Meanwhile, the residents of Perth, Australia (Heath’s hometown) have just paid tribute to the actor in a much grander fashion. On Tuesday, an $87 million theater was named in Ledger’s honor.
Western Australia state Premier Alan Carpenter said they hope the Heath Ledger Theater will help others who have been inspired by the Oscar-nominee’s work. “Heath Ledger was totally dedicated to the craft of being an actor and that’s what made him successful. I think what we’re doing is continuing that support for young people who want to make a career in the arts and acting, stage and in film, whatever it happens to be.”
