Samsung Galaxy S 4 Leak

It appears that someone has been naughty and wants to spoil the party by uploading videos of the new Samsung Galaxy S IV smartphones before the launch tonight in New York City.

The first video highlights floating touch, which I presume allows the user to manipulate the screen without making physical contact. The feature was first introduced by Sony's Xperia Sola last year. Check out all four videos after the break.

How the Apple vs. Samsung jury reached a verdict (video)

Apple vs Samsung verdict explanation

We are a few days removed from the monumental decision that was handed down in the Apple vs. Samsung trial, where Apple pretty much steamrolled Samsung in the verdict. Curious how the jury reached the decision that it did? Check out the video after the break. It's an interesting look at the process that Jury Foreman Vel Hogan and team used to determine which patents were infringed, and how much money to award in damages. Other interesting tidbits? The Jury Foreman is a PC user who owns no Apple products, and not one of the jurors owned an iPhone.

Samsung Galaxy S III Dropbox

Alongside the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung announced that buyers will also get another nice incentive--50 GB of free space on Dropbox. Buyers will simply need to register their Galaxy S III, and we presume they also need to install the Dropbox Android app. From there, they'll receive 50 GB of Dropbox storage for two years. Definitely a nice bonus if you ask us.

Samsung SH100 Wi-Fi enabled point and shoot digital camera

samsung SH100

Fresh out of CES 2011, Samsung has announced their new SH100 point and shoot camera. What's so special about this one? Well, the main advantage here is the built-in Wi-Fi with DLNA support. This allows you to send images and videos to friends and web services (Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, Photobucket) directly from the camera itself without having to sync to a computer first. Speaking of syncing, the SH100 can also use it's Wi-Fi signal to wirelessly and automatically sync to a computer on the same network, eliminating the need for a cable. The DLNA let's you wirelessly display images and videos to a television right from the camera as well.

Even better, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone, you can use that device as a remote control for the camera. It will act as a remote viewfinder with shutter control at the very least. It's got a 14.2 megapixel sensor and 4.7-23.5mm lens which is nothing to write home about, but hey, for all this thing can do it's priced at just $200. That must mean we should be seeing more of this type of stuff just built-in to cameras this year (we hope!)

As mentioned previously, the Samsung Captivate launches on July 18th on AT&T for $199, making it the first respectable (in our opinion) smartphone on the AT&T network. So while you’ll have to wait until Sunday to get your hands on one, we were able to get an early look at the device thanks to AT&T, and while our review is forthcoming, we put together an unboxing gallery showing off the device. Hit the link below for a nice look at the Samsung Captivate hardware—we’ve got a good 25 images for you.

Samsung Epic 4G announced for Sprint

Samsung Epic 4G

just announced their newest smartphone, the Samsung Epic 4G. Formerly known as the Galaxy S Pro in the rumor mill, the Epic 4G will launch in “the coming months” and seems feature-packed. For starters, it’s got a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, front-facing VGA camera for video calls, accelerometer, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a landscape QWERTY slider keyboard. Naturally, the Epic 4G will be running Samsung’s customized version of Android 2.1.

Definitely nice to see more smartphones launching on Sprint’s 4G network, giving the some company. We will have more on the Epic 4G as news comes out.
