Tiny fish tanks can be boring, but the Aquafarm serves as both a home for your fish and an herb garden that provides you with delicious, fresh plants. Even better, all you need to do is remember to feed the fish to make everything happen. You see, through aquaponics, the plants use the nutrients from the fish poop to nourish themselves and keep on growing strong. In turn, the plants keep the water clean, so you don't have to.  You get five planters, and seeds to grow wheat grass, lettuce mix, and basil from Seeds of Change. All this for $59.99 from ThinkGeek.

Karl LagerfeldKarl Lagerfeld wants to marry his cat.

The eccentric designer is so besotted with his feline friend, Choupette, he pays for two maids to provide care for her around the clock in Paris. The Chanel designer also has an iPad for his 22-month-old white Siamese pet - who also has her own Twitter account - and lets her dine at his table.

Karl, 79, said in an interview with CNN he is disappointed there is "no marriage, yet, for human beings and animals. I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat."

Choupette - the French equivalent of the English name Herbie - has already gained over 1,200 likes for her own page on Facebook, which features pictures including her eating a king prawn cake prepared for her first birthday last year. Choupette is brushed twice a day by her two nannies, as well as being given regular manicures. Her nannies also write down what she does throughout the day so Karl can catch up with it when he gets home.

Fiona Apple Cancels Tour to Tend to Her Dying Dog

Fiona Apple with her dog Janet

Despite releasing her first album this year since 2005's Extraordinary Machine, 2012 has not been very good to Fiona Apple: first she was arrested in September for drug possession, and now her faithful dog of 14 years is dying.

In a Facebook message to her fans, Apple revealed in a scanned handwritten letter why she is postponing her current tour. “I just can’t leave her now, please understand... If I go away again, I’m afraid she’ll die and I won’t have the honor of singing her to sleep, of escorting her out," she wrote.

Kim Kardashian Worried She Is a Cat Lady

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television, Photos,

Kim KardashianKim Kardashian is worried she will become a "cat lady."

The 31-year-old beauty - who is dating Kanye West - recently adopted a new kitty named Mercy, and she is concerned she is starting to look crazy as she is posting too many pictures of the pet for her 16.2 million followers on social networking site Twitter to see.

"I just hope I'm not turning into one of those cat ladies that's tweeting too many pictures of her pet! I have always wanted a white Persian cat with light eyes. That was my thing. I've been always looking at kittens like that online," she said.

Kim named the small cat after one of her boyfriend's songs and because she thought it was a "cute" moniker. "My mother actually helped me come up with that name. It's a song of my boyfriend's, so I thought it was cute. I just thought it was a cute name and it fit her," she told People.

Vet Sues Mariah Carey For Unpaid Bills

Mariah Carey and her dog is being sued by her vet.

The singer - who is married to rapper-and-presenter - reportedly owes just under $30,000 in unpaid bills for Dr. Cindy Bressler’s services for her pets. The veterinarian filed claims in a New York court yesterday, alleging the pop star has paid just $8,200 towards the $37,800 worth of charges for “extraordinary services” given to her three dogs, JJ, Cha Cha and Dolomite in one month. The filing states Cindy tended to the pets “at the special instance and request” of Mariah between October 31 and December 2, 2009.

“She rendered veterinary services including extraordinary services to the defendant’s canines. Dr. Bressler performed work, labor and services on the defendant’s canines… at the agreed price and reasonable value of $37,790.32, which sum Mariah agreed to pay.”

If Cindy’s claim is successful, Mariah will also have to pay her legal costs making the final total sum higher. Cindy’s attorney told gossip website TMZ the vet was in charge of feeding and grooming the pooches while Mariah was away in Los Angeles.

A spokesperson for 41-year-old Mariah said her legal team were not aware of the lawsuit.
