The OnStar FMV (For My Vehicle) add-on has been fairly popular, and OnStar is looking to begin making the device more accessible to an even larger audience. From May 6 though June 16, OnStar FMV will be available for $99.99, with installation included, which is about $200 off the standard price of the device. Definitely a nice Mother's Day, Father's Day, or graduation gift, bringing OnStar features like automatic crash response, turn-by-turn navigation, and hands-free calling to non-GM vehicles.

Thanks to a leaked image from a Best Buy, it appears that we now know that the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX, alongside the HTC Rezound, will be receiving an Ice Cream Sandwich update. April 4th is the day for RAZR devices, and April 6th is when the Rezound gets in on the Android 4.0 action. The update will be available over the air, but we have no idea on the rollout schedule. By the looks of it, April is turning out to be a big month for smartphones and updates.

The Best Buy deal is a far cry from the $99 HP TouchPad fire sale that captivated the technology industry in late August. The new, discounted price of the 64 GB PlayBook is $549.99, $50 above the price of the 32 GB TouchPad that HP discounted on August 10.
The discount means that Best Buy is now selling the 64 GB and 32 GB versions of the TouchPad for the same price, or $549.99. Best Buy has discounted the 32 GB version for $50 off of the list price. The 16 GB model is still priced at $449.99, with no discount.
Following the TouchPad debacle, RIM's PlayBook appears to be significantly overpriced, as the buyers turn to good, cheap tablets. The PlayBook is still less expensive than the 32-Gbyte Wi-Fi-only iPad, however, at $599.99. Hewlett-Packard has also said that it will make one final batch of HP Touchpads, apparently to soak up additional components from its upstream suppliers.
"Due to HP's decision to discontinue its TouchPad product, Best Buy will now provide clearance pricing for all HP TouchPad models regardless of previously advertised prices or promotions," Best Buy said in a note on its forums.
The Toshiba Thrive finally has an official U.S. release date, although the news comes from retail partner Best Buy rather than the tablet maker itself.
Best Buy on Thursday confirmed that Toshiba's 10.1-inch Thrive tablet running Google's Android 3.1 Honeycomb will be available for in-store purchase on July 10. Toshiba, unlike more publicity minded tablet makers, never named an official release date for the Thrive, though Best Buy and other Toshiba retail partners began taking pre-orders in mid-June.
Toshiba's new Wi-Fi-only tablet "joins a rapidly expanding tablet selection at Best Buy, which is re-designing both its in-store and online tablet presentation to enable customers to learn more about and easily compare new devices as they become available," the retailer said in a statement.
A big clue that the Thrive would be made available on Sunday arrived earlier this week when the Best Buy website's Thrive pre-order page began listing delivery dates of as early as July 10 for customers pre-ordering 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB Toshiba tablets.
Griffin Technology and Crayola have teamed up on the ColorStudio HD app and iMarker, and the set is now available nationwide. The cool thing about this is that the app can tell the difference between the swiping and tapping fingers of a child and the iMarker input. There are over 30 animated coloring pages with sound effects and music, and users can also create their own works of art from scratch, and can also use the built in library of assets. Art can even be uploaded directly to Facebook, or printed using AirPrint.
The Crayola ColorStudio HD app is free on the app store, and the iMarker pack is available now for $29.99.

9to5 Mac first noticed the change at BestBuy.com and believes this is "indicative of a product refresh." Best Buy now only offers the MacBook Air in a limited number of stores, apart from the 13.3-inch version, which is only available online.
A Best Buy salesperson said the MacBook Air's SKU was still active but that Apple had stopped shipping the notebooks to its online stores.
From today until May 26, GagaVille invites users to "execute Gaga-themed quests" and unlock songs from Lady Gaga's upcoming album, "Born This Way," which hits stores on May 23.
As Zynga announced last week, GagaVille is a marketing partnership with Lady Gaga and Clear Channel Radio. The game gives fans access to Clear Channel's iHeartRadio player, and an exclusive preview to the diva's upcoming album.
Fans who buy $25 worth of FarmVille game credits through Best Buy will also get to download the entire album for free.
Best Buy is holding a huge Mac sale today, offering discounts up to $260 off of MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, and Mac Pro - and that includes free shipping:
