RedKaraoke Sings in English

RedKaraoke logoEurope’s fave site for wannabe singers, RedKaraoke, has been launched in an English version. They claim they are the largest site of their kind with over 14,000 songs and over 400,000 users. You can record both audio and video, compete with rankings, and a Tone Control Tool will make you sound even better. The site utilizes MIDI and KAR files, which can convert almost any song into a karaoke track. Created last year by brothers Miguel Angel and Richard Diez Ferreira, the site is free since it generates its funding through advertising and sponsorships.

I Haven’t heard abiut this site before but since now I guess its available in English I might. I guess I might get entertained by some good singers. Also, I’ve always wondered if any famous singers have ever been discovered through karaoke?

Hi,

@Sheila Thanks a lot for the post!

@ x1xtomx1x
We haven’t heard of any celebrity been discovered thru karaoke but some users of Red Karaoke (its Spanish version) have found job as singers in bands (pop & heavy styles)  and even some castings have been organized through the site.

We hope you enjoy the site and have fun singing and sharing!

This is awesome. I am so jazzed up about it. ..gotta share it with my homies…so hard to even cast for those shows on tv that RedKaraoke can be an alternative platform for popularity and stardom!  well done red karaoke!
You guys rock!

I just took a look at it—awesome job!  The website reminds me of YouTube except it focuses on videos of people singing rather than all sorts of videos.
