It’s Official: Sony Discontinues 20GB PS3
Last week, we reported on how the 20GB PS3 is harder and harder to find in stores, and is likely being phased out. Well, Sony has confirmed that the 20GB has indeed been discontinued, and plans to focus its attention on the much more popular 60GB model, which is loaded with more features, and has outsold its little brother by a whopping 10 to 1 margin. Sony claims there are still thousands of 20GBs on retailer shelves, and will continue to be sold at $500 USD until they’re all sold out.
