This week the not-for-profit site DonorsChoose is hoping to raise funds for school projects by asking others to help create awareness for them by blogging about existing ones such as Magical Math Centers or Creating a Fuel Cell Car. You can sign up if you would like to participate as a teacher seeking monetary backing or if you want to Create a Challenge. You simply write your usual blog, sponsor a proposal and include a link. So far, DonorsChoose has received over $12 million for almost 600,000 students. We applaud the fact that this site realizes the power of the Internet in their “word of fingers” campaign and figure that you do, too.
