Britney Spears and Natalie PortmanOf all the actresses performing these days, Britney Spears as dubbed Natalie Portman as the one worthy to tell her life story.

The pop star has revealed she would like to see the Oscar-winning Black Swan and Thor: The Dark World portray her on the big screen if there is ever a biopic made about her life. In a Twitter Q&A to promote her new album Britney Jean on Tuesday, Britney was asked, "If you could pick anyone to play you as a character in a movie, who would you choose? @britneyspears #AskBritneyJean [sic]."

The 31-year-old star responded by suggesting the 32-year-old brunette beauty, who began her acting career over 20 years ago and, like Britney, grew up in the spotlight.

Natalie Portman Envies Her British Co-Stars

Natalie PortmanNatalie Portman would love to live and work in the same place.

The jet-setting Thor: The Dark World star is "envious" of her British co-stars who are able to live and work in the same city because more and more Hollywood productions are making use of London's production studios: "I love working here in London and I'm envious of British actors and British crews because American actors, we end up like gypsies - movie to movie, moving cities every time. But you can have such a fulfilling, wonderful, rich career here between the theatre, the TV, and the film all in one place. It's pretty cool to get to live and work in the same place."

The 32-year-old beauty - who has two-year-old son Aleph with her husband Benjamin Millepied - also said her mother Shelley Hershlag, who is her agent, often lends out family photos of her as a child to decorate the sets of her films, but joked her mum keeps using the same ones. "I guess the funny thing is that it is the same set of photos she always lends out for every movie I've done for the past 20 years. There's a lot of characters that shouldn't have the same experiences and family photos, but do. Also, all sorts of people have been Photoshopped into them - there's some interesting ones of me and Tobey Maguire from when I'm young, but not real, of course," she explained.

The British actor - who played the role of guardian Heimdall in the first instalment of the action movie starring Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hilddleston - has confirmed he will be back for the second feature, which is due to begin filming this year.

Asked if he had any Marvel projects in the future, he said, "Thor 2, for sure. We're going at it again." However, he admits he has yet to meet the film's director Alan Taylor, who took over after Patty Jenkins dropped out due to differences of opinion.

Natalie Portman - who played Jane Foster in the 2011 film - is also widely expected to return, although she was said to have been annoyed at Patty being sidelined in the project. The first Thor, which told the tale of the leader of the Norse Gods, played by Sir Anthony Hopkins, banishing his son to earth, made $448.5 million at the box office worldwide.

Russell Brand, ArthurUPDATE: Final numbers prove Sunday estimates were wrong. Get the updated -- and accurate -- box office results below.

Even Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman can’t compete with family-friendly Easter-themed animation. Hop has retained its number one box office position, and Portman’s lowbrow comedy flick suffered a dismal opening weekend.

Hop, which cost around $63 million to make, has already earned a cool $68.2 million from box office revenue ($21.7 million this weekend). Thanks to his new comedy flick, Russell Brand is in the top two positions on the box office list for the weekend. Arthur earned $12.6 million to gain the second top slot. His voice is behind the leading bunny in Hop, and Brand plays the title character in the number 2 flick.

Action flick Hanna just barely got pushed into third, earning $12.3 million in its opening weekend. Soul Surfer scored $11.1 million to lock down a fourth place opening. Insidious is still on the top five list (barely) with $9.7 million. Natalie Portman, James Franco and Danny McBride proved to be a dismal box office combination, earning a combined $9.5 with Your Highness to land in sixth place.

UPDATED: Hanna actually earned second place at the box office with $12.4 million. Arthur slid into third place with its $12.2 million box office take.
