MONDAY (12/7)
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8pm): “Marshall finds a letter he wrote when he was young, and it has a dramatic effect on him.” Up until then, he had completely forgotten all about Sarah Marshall.
- Cake Boss (TLC, 9pm): “The crew makes a holiday-themed cake for a drag queen.” The holiday? Cher’s birthday.
- Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Food, 10pm): “Guy Fieri visits North Pole, Alaska, for a taste of local Christmas favorites, including holiday ham with wild Alaskan cranberries; Reindeer hoagies; and “Santa” burgers.” For this trip, Fieri will be joined by a special guest: The Grinch.

MONDAY 12/1)- Shrek the Halls (ABC, 8pm): Hopefully this Mike Myers laugher will help us all forget The Love Guru.
- Inside the Actor’s Studio (Bravo, 8pm): “Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter film franchise, charts his career journey.” I’m not sure I want to see James Lipton enthusiastically talking about Radcliffe’s nude Broadway performance.
- Heroes (NBC, 9pm): “Ando, Sam and Frack try to restore Hiro’s memory with a comic book.” Any person trying to follow this series should be given an instruction manual.
- Boston Legal (ABC, 10pm): “When Denny receives bad news about the state of his Alzheimer’s, Alan goes before the Massachusetts Supreme Court to plead for access to an experimental drug that can help his condition.” Alzheimers? Maybe Shatner simply forgot why George Takei dislikes him so.

Thursday Ratings: Split Decision for ‘Greys’ and ‘CSI’
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Games, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Specials, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, ER, Grey’s Anatomy, My Name Is Earl, Scrubs, Survivor, The Office, Ratings,
It was another heated battle in the ratings last night. When the dust settled, ABC had a claim on the demos while CBS was left with the viewers.
8pm

- Survivor (4.5/12 in 18-49) topped the hour with 14 million.
- A new episode of Ugly Betty (9.3 million, 2.8/8) came in second.
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (8.7 million, 2.3/6) was about even with last week.
- My Name is Earl (7.4 million, 3.0/9) was up about 800,000; 30 Rock (5.8 million, 2.7/7) remained steady.
- Smallville* (2.81 million, 1.1/3) did about the same.
9pm
- With 18.6 million, CSI (5.4/13 in 18-49) had the night’s largest audience.
- Grey’s Anatomy (17.6 million, 7.1/17) scored Thursday’s best demos.
- Don’t Forget the Lyrics* (6.71 million, 2.1/5) lost about 2 million.
- The Office* (4.99 million, 2.5/6) and Scrubs (4.86 million, 2.4/6) were both down about 1 million.
- Supernatural* (2.04 million, 0.8/2) saw a 200,000 increase.
10pm
- Without a Trace (3.2/8 in 18-49) led the hour with 12.7 million.
- The hour’s best demos went to Barbara Walters: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007 (11.7 million, 4.6/12).
- ER’s 300th episode was down about 500,000 from last week.

MONDAY (12/3)
- The Closer (TNT, 8pm): The special two-hour holiday episode brings Brenda’s parents into the investigative fold. Nothing says Christmas like talking blood with your blood.
- Heroes (NBC, 9pm): (NOTE: This is the last new episode left.) ‘Peter squares off against former friends thanks to Adam’s confusing story about the Shanti virus.’ He shouldn’t fault Adam; the confusing storyline is to blame.
- K-Ville (FOX, 9pm): ‘Boulet and Cobb investigate an insurance adjuster’s murder.’ As if there weren’t enough people in New Orleans with a motive.
- Life (NBC, 10pm): (First half of the two-parter; 2nd half airs Wednesday). ‘Evidence points to Reese’s father in the murders that sent Crews to prison.’ I’m guessing this won’t be resolved anytime soon…otherwise, we wouldn’t have a show.
