• At Full Volume with Johnny Colt (Travel, 9pm):  “Johnny Colt of Black Crowes fame ventures to Thailand, where he finds himself in a Muay Thai boxing match.” My money’s on Johnny. He’s a little bit Hard to Handle.
• The Rachel Zoe Project (Bravo, 10pm):  “The red-carpet pressure’s on when Rachel allows a stunned Brad full responsibility to give high fashion to actress Anne Hathaway for fashion’s biggest night—the Oscars.” That’s Ba-na-nas.
• Hoarders (A&E, 10pm):  “A woman who has over 75 living and dead cats in her home, which is full of cat feces and urine-soaked furniture and carpets.” Later, it was discovered the woman had actually invaded the cats’ home.

• Chuck (NBC, 8pm):  “In a 3-D edition, global rock star Tyler Martin (Dominic Monaghan) is marked for murder, so the agents kidnap the musician to discover who’s behind the deadly plot.”  Unfortunately, they don’t understand his “My-plane-crashed-on-an-island-and-there-were-these-Others” story either.
• Heroes (NBC, 9pm):  “The newly powerless Hiro resolves to help Ando become a true superhero.” Sorry, Suresh. You’re stuck with creating powers for yourself.
• Medium (NBC, 10pm):  Season premiere. “Daughter Bridgette lands in trouble at school for drawing nude pictures of her art teacher.” She earned an “A” for technique, but an “F” for accuracy.
• For the Love of Ray J (VH1, 10:30pm):  Series premiere. “The actor, singer-songwriter and brother of Brandy moves 14 beautiful women into his mansion and starts his search for love.” If Kim Kardashian can get a reality show, I guess her sex tape partner should get one too.

• The Oprah Winfrey Show (Syndicated, check local listings:  Season 23 premiere. Oprah kicks off her new year with over 150 Olympians. Medals, schmedals. I’m sure they’re all hoping for free cars.
• Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 8pm):  Season 2 premiere. “Agent Ellison handles the aftermath of Cromartie’s massacre.” Now if a pool full of dead bodies doesn’t spell things out for Ellison, nothing will.
• Take Home Nanny (TLC, 8pm):  “Parents of aggressive twins need help from Emma to get the kids to behave well for a dinner with a teacher at the new school they want the boys to attend next year.” After they’re accepted, the twins then become the teacher’s problem.
• Prison Break (FOX, 9pm):  “Michael and his crew have one day to find the other five cardholders or they’ll go back to prison.” Yeah, yeah, yeah - been there, done that.

Michael Phelps to Host SNL

So you win 8 gold medals and help NBC score phenomenal ratings—what do you do next? Go to Disneyland? Well, that’s entirely possible. But Michael Phelps still has one more challenge he needs to tackle: hosting Saturday Night Live.

To thank the swimmer for all that he has done for

our country, the Peacock network has given the It Boy the chance to kick off its 34th season. (I mean - if you’re going to milk a cash cow…you gotta do it while it’s still fresh, right?)

Surprisingly, despite all his hours on camera, this gig will actually mark Michael’s acting debut. It’ll also probably be the first time he’s ever seen fully-clothed. (That is, of course, assuming the producers allow him to be clothed.)

The season premiere of Saturday Night Live - featuring Michael Phelps and musician Lil Wayne - debuts on September 13.
