Glee Cast Headed to the White House
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Music, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, News,

First, the World Series. Next stop—the White House.
Glee may deal with issues like premarital sex, teenage pregnancy and homosexuality, but that doesn’t mean the program isn’t welcome in the President’s household. In fact, First Lady Michelle Obama and her children reportedly love the show so much, they’ve invited the cast to perform at their Pennsylvania Avenue address.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the show’s cast has just been asked to sing at the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll. Although the April 5th event would mean some schedule shifting, the program’s producers are more than willing to accommodate the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Nationwide Search for New Glee Stars Begins
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, Gossip, Renewals,
Three new faces will soon grace one of America’s most talked-about shows - and we’re not talking about American Idol this time. Fox has renewed its hit series Glee for a second season, which shouldn’t be surprising. What is surprising is the news that follows: a nationwide search for three new roles on the series will soon begin.
Time to start practicing those scales, Gleeks. The casting call begins in February, and according to Fox “auditions will be open to amateur individuals as well as professionals between the ages of 16-26.” Those who want to get their shot will be able to audition online. For upcoming announcements on this exciting post-season twist, keep checking the official Glee site.
Of course, Fox wouldn’t have such a process if they weren’t going to get great ratings out of it. Toward the end of the summer, a reality series featuring this Glee casting search will begin to air. Winners will be revealed on the show’s second season opener.
