Thursday Ratings: ‘Lost’ Passengers Are Found

The Season Four premiere of Lost received a very warm welcome. As a result, the debut of Eli Stone also got off to a fine start.
8pm

- About 13.1 million got caught up with the Lost recaps (4.9/13 in 18-49).
- Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? (10.6 million, 3.1/8) did about the same as last week.
- CSI: NY* (8.8 million, 1.9/5) was up just a bit.
- My Name Is Earl* (5.3 million, 2.2/6) started NBC‘s night off on a slow note; The Office* (4.5 million, 1.9/5) went downhill from there.
- Smallville (3.8 million, 1.6/4) looked a lot bigger this week.
Variety
9pm
- The Lost premiere (6.7/16 in 18-49) got 16 million roped in.
- CSI* (11.9 million, 2.7/7) finally gave up the win.
- Don’t Forget the Lyrics (10 million, 3.3/8) kept most of its lead-in.
- The first half of Celebrity Apprentice (2.8/7) started off with 6.9 million.
- Supernatural (3 million,1.3/3) was up 1.2 mill from last week.
10pm
- Approximately 11.6 million displayed a little faith in Eli Stone (4.2/11 in 18-49).
- Without a Trace* (10.4 million, 2.4/7) saw a loss of 1.4 million.
- The last half of Celebrity Apprentice (8.7 million, 3.6/10) ended on an upswing.
