Sunday Ratings: Wins for CBS and NBC

If things don’t change soon, Sunday evenings will start sounding like a broken record. Yesterday, CBS was #1 with the viewers while NBC was a success in the demos.
8pm
- Million Dollar Password (8.5 million, 1.7/5 in 18-49) was up 200,000.
- Sports coverage of the U.S. Olympic Trials (1.6/5) averaged 5.5 million.
- The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1.5/5) nabbed 4.1 million for FOX.
- Everybody Hates Chris* (980,000, 0.3/1) soared by 280,000; Aliens in America* (920,000, 0.3/1) picked up another 240,000.

9pm
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition* (5.6 million, 1.9/6 in 18-49) dipped by 600,000.
- The Game* (950,000, 0.3/1) had a 700,000 bump; Girlfriends* (960,000, 0.3/1) added on 900,000.
10pm
- Dateline (7.5 million, 2.2/6 in 18-49) subtracted 700,000.
- A Cold Case* block (1.3/4) averaged 6.6 million.
- Desperate Housewives* (3.2 million, 1.0/3) remained steady with last week.
